  Don't get me wrong.  I still have full faith in mine, just tired of hearing about problems with new guns.  Manufacuturers really need to stop using the public for testing and put these expensive weapons through every conceivable test before being so eager to put the newest whiz-bang out on the market.   Maybe we need an Underwriters Laboratories for the gun world.

I've had once since they came out.  Very solid design with tigh lock-up between barrel and action enhanced by the adjustable barrel nut.  Have had no problems with it loosening up and don't ever expect it to.  For one it's a .22, not exactly a stressfull round on steel and secondly it's a snug fit when you put it together.  No loss of accuracy between take-aparts.    My only complaint is in installing and removing the barrel.  It make the slightest metal on metal squeak that sends shivers through my whole body.  I can't explain it.  My brother is the same way with styrofoam.

Why DW (CZ) stopped making them I'll never understand.  One of the finest looking and shooting 1911's ever made, IMHO.

  Texas is "burnt" orange, much darker than traffic cone orange.   I like the outfits but don't want them.  If they win every game up to and including homecoming wearing traditional colors then I say let'em wear the gray against Kentucky.
