Here's the deal (according to me):  The IMF and every other greedy ass country on this planet can go to hell.  We can barely afford our own social programs, much less tax our transportation to pay for everyone else in the world.   Unless I'm mistaken we tax gas to maintain the road system in this country, not to feed poor litltle kids in Somalia,  mismanagement in Greece or 6 week vacations in Europe.   Finally, the infrastructure in this county is indeed falling apart.  Gas taxes will need to be raised at some point to keep it half-way intact, not to support the rest of the world.  I'm not for it but it will happen.

Thankfully, I have never needed the services of a "professional" gunsmith.   That being said, 10 weeks is beyond ridiculous and anything more than a couple of weeks, frankly, is absurd.  I've read and heard the stories about factory repairs taking incredible amounts of time, which may be somewhat acceptable as they are in the business of mass producing firearms, not necessarily fixing them.  Even so, these time periods are unknown to most in this day and age.   There is no way in hell I would leave my property, much less a gun, in the hands of someone who needs to order parts and will get to it when they can.

Last I heard Alabama was not turning people away who needed to live there.

As of Tuesday this week there were already over 300 amendments proposed to whatever this immigration bill is they are discussing.   Gonna be just like Obamacare, we won't know what's in it until it passes.
