  1. I knew I liked skunks for a reason! The enemy of my enemy is my friend! But they still stink. The hive is no more!
  2. That should read SCOURGE, damn it!!!  :)  The plan of attack is to pour some gas down their hole this evening.
  3. I was weeding eating around a large flower bed, on a very steep bank in my front yard.  Obviously, I pissed them off for some reason.  They got me 5 or 6 times on my back (through my shirt), twice on my left arm, at least 4 or 5 times on mt left leg and numerous times on my right leg, before I got away.  "Revenge is a dish best served cold" as Dr. Sheldon Cooper would say.  Their asses are grass,  this evening!!! ;(
  4. I've wanted one of these for years now, but when I have the money, I can never find one.  Guess one of these days I will have to trade something for one of them, when they come up here!
  5. That will not see the light of day on the House floor... unless the Dems take control of the House in 2014.
  6. I agree with this statement...   Until this happens and they will fold like a cheap tent!
  7. There is a good chance this is a fake. Go to this link and read about it here. http://freedomoutpost.com/2013/08/is-this-document-the-smoking-gun-of-the-united-nations-disarmament-plan-for-america/
  8. It would, indeed, be an emergency!
  9. Boys, all you need is a pot, some water, a fire and some grounds and you in business! We don't need no stinkin' power!
  10. This is spot on.  I could not have said it better.
  11. My son likes to shoot, but he'd rather shoot my Colt .22 Peacemaker and my Pietta 1858 Remington .44, than any other pistol I own.  He loves shooting his Marlin 83 too.  He's shot my AK and shrugged it off.  He likes the old stuff.
  12. Look around for a nice used bolt action.  You should be able to pick one up for under $150.  Go with a Marlin or one of their clones.
  13. He didn't care about this going to the grand jury.  That's where he wants it to.  And probably on to a jury trial. I just hope he gets a Lawyer for that. A bad verdict there might not be a good thing for us.  Those now famous words of Red, on That 70's Show, serve as an apt description of Kwik; Dumbass!
  14. Bugging in.
  15. I think at least two of those choppers, were for parts to keep the other 4 running.
  16. He doesn't matter. Just about all the rest of them are anti 2A. He is just a speed bump on their drive to criminalize gun owners.
  17. The Sten machineguns are fun to shoot!  The parts kits they were bringing into the country back in the early 90's were running about $125 and a receiver blank with the template glued to it, were running around $40.  I always though about putting one of those little kits back, with 10 mags and the uncut tube, for a SHTF item, but I never did.
  18. The militarization of police forces across the country, has been going on for longer than Obama has been President. I think it started for real with the Clinton Administration and their push for community policing.  The objective of this policy was to provide local, state and federal LE agencies, with more officers, better training, better equipment and better intelligence, in order to fight crime.  After 9/11, the Bush Administration ramped this up even more.  Obama has merely continued the buildup.   Some interesting reading form the Justice Department in 1999. http://www.justice.gov/archive/dag/pubdoc/crimestrategy.pdf
  19. I will not vote for Christie.  Nor will I vote for Billary.  If he gets the R nomination, we are damned if we do and damned if we don't.  I will vote for whoever the Libertarians run, and pray that there are another 20% that are finally disgusted enough to vote with me.  Then I am going to pray that Texas sees the writing on the wall and withdraws from the Union, so I can move to a country with sensible laws.   I know, it's a pipe dream, but if either of those two get elected in 2016, we are screwed blue and tattooed. :(
  20. Well, it seems to me that if the City Council appointed him, more than likely, they can un-appoint him!  I believe it's time for some of the good people of Maryville to start making some phone calls to their City Council members!
  21. SO GLAD I DON'T LIVE CALI!!!  It's the crazy state!!!
  22. Well, one reason is cost.  Remington .357 158Gr SJHP is almost twice what .38 Spl 158gr SJHP is. If you are on a budget, that's an important consideration, when you're are trying to buy other supplies at the same time.  Another reason to have a duel or triple caliber (Ruger Blackhawk .357/9mm convertible) is if you have to scrounge for ammo in a post apocalyptic world, it's a lot easier to find one of three calibers as opposed to one caliber.   It also makes sense to have a pistol and a rifle that share the same caliber as opposed to carrying two different calibers.  Using the above Ruger Blackhawk example, you could pair it with a .357/.38 Spl lever gun or a 9mm Carbine.  Another rifle/pistol combination might be a ,44mag revolver with a .44mag lever gun or .Blackhawk in 30 carbine and a M1 Carbine..
  23. A browning Hi-power get would be a great pistol, but I doubt you can one in your price range.
  24. That's a nice looking pistol right there! I like the size too. I have a "Loaded" edition Springfield in Stainless. It's a great pistol, but no way would it conceal as well as that one right there!
