  1. I had one of these little .32s and for a little snubbie, it was pretty accurate out to 25 yards!

  3. Damn, that could come in handy on a hot day at the range!
  4. Honestly, I’m not sure it won’t happen here in the State of Tennessee. At some point the politics here, are going to be controlled by the cities of Nashville and Memphis, just like Denver controls Colorado, Chicago controls Illinois and New York City controls New York. Georgia will probably go blue in the next decade, as Atlanta continues to grow. The a Democrats all most got the Governor’s office last year. It’s coming folks!
  5. Stick with the wood or plastic panels. This pistol is heavy enough to dampen most of the recoil. No need to get recoil absorbing rubber grips. The CZ75 B is one of the best shooting pistols I’ve ever shot. But it’s a big pistol, from the era when most automatics were big, heavy and made of steel. I found that I had an issue with having to change my grip on the pistol, when engaging the safety. I’m a big guy with medium sized hands. So I ended up selling it to a co-worker. He absolutely loves it. I prefer my FNH FNS. BUT right now, I also have my eye on a Rami and also CZ75 P01.
  6. I'm afraid so.
  7. People want to dress their guns up, so you have this. Honestly think that ARs have got people wanting tinker toy guns now. Not saying ARs are bad, cause they aren't. But people now want to customize all their guns. It's the fashion statement of the gun industry now.
  8. If you are just look at $120 in difference, go for the CZ. If you have big mitts, you won't regret it.
  9. You might try here. I've always heard he was the best. http://bowenclassicarms.com/about.html
  10. Congratulations! Beautiful revolver!
  11. Rural King for me. Like $9 a pair. Been pretty good so far. Phsst to fashion.
  12. My Saiga .223 eats steel case for every meal. My ARs are bit more picky.
  13. Same for me. I don't see me giving up my LCP for this anytime soon. And I like my two Taurii (627 .357 Mag and PT111 G2).
  14. We all promise not to make fun of you when we see you at the range. Just don't wear your pimp hat. If you do, all bets are off!!!
  15. While I'd welcome CC in Tennessee, I still want to keep my HCP, so I can carry outside of the State, while on vacation.
  16. I get what you are saying, but I wonder if we’d really nuke them. We have a sense of responsibility that others don’t have. The thing is, if we actually nuked someone, it wouldn’t be just them, we nuked, it’d be our allies and trading partners, downwind of whatever country it was that attacked us. In the case of North Korea, that would be China, Russia and Japan. If it were Iran, then India and all of Southeast Asia would feel the effects too. Im not convinced we’d do it. And if I’m not convinced, then our enemies might not be convinced either. So where is the deterrent?
  17. Cutting up guns is legal. So is not buying another Benchmade knife.
  18. I carry 2 extra mags for my LCP, in the weak hand front pocket. How many spare reloads do you carry and where?
  19. But the price we'd pay would be extremely high, maybe even extinction of our country. Not sure I'm ready topay such a price to have peace throughout the world. I or my children wouldn't get to enjoy it.
  20. I thought at one time, under one of the SALT Treaties, we had mutually assured and verified, that neither side was targeting the other. Obviously, that could probably change in a matter of a few minutes. The Russian Governement controls the media. Had Putin not wanted this subject to be aired, it wouldn't have. I suspect that the Russians are fearful we are about to interfer with one of their allies in South America, so Putin is doing a little sabre rattling, in the reference of another "Cuban Missile Crisis".
  21. Nice package!!! And I'm talking about the Taurus pistol, there Big Boy!
  22. Russain TV last night listed potential nuclear weapons targets in the U.S. yesterday. Starting to feel like I'm back in the days of my childhood. After Putin's warning, Russian TV lists nuclear targets in U.S. By Andrew Osborn,Reuters 14 hours ago Scroll back up to restore default view. By Andrew Osborn MOSCOW (Reuters) - Russian state television has listed U.S. military facilities that Moscow would target in the event of a nuclear strike, and said that a hypersonic missile Russia is developing would be able to hit them in less than five minutes. The targets included the Pentagon and the presidential retreat in Camp David, Maryland. The report, unusual even by the sometimes bellicose standards of Russian state TV, was broadcast on Sunday evening, days after President Vladimir Putin said Moscow was militarily ready for a "Cuban Missile"-style crisis if the United States wanted one. With tensions rising over Russian fears that the United States might deploy intermediate-range nuclear missiles in Europe as a Cold War-era arms-control treaty unravels, Putin has said Russia would be forced to respond by placing hypersonic nuclear missiles on submarines near U.S. waters. The United States says it has no immediate plans to deploy such missiles in Europe and has dismissed Putin's warnings as disingenuous propaganda. It does not currently have ground-based intermediate-range nuclear missiles that it could place in Europe. However, its decision to quit the 1987 Intermediate-range Nuclear Forces (INF) Treaty over an alleged Russian violation, something Moscow denies, has freed it to start developing and deploying such missiles. Putin has said Russia does not want a new arms race, but has also dialled up his military rhetoric. The Pentagon said that Putin's threats only helped unite NATO. "Every time Putin issues these bombastic threats and touts his new doomsday devices, he should know he only deepens NATO's resolve to work together to ensure our collective security," Eric Pahon, a Pentagon spokesman, said. Some analysts have seen his approach as a tactic to try to re-engage the United States in talks about the strategic balance between the two powers, for which Moscow has long pushed, with mixed results. In the Sunday evening broadcast, Dmitry Kiselyov, presenter of Russia's main weekly TV news show 'Vesti Nedeli', showed a map of the United States and identified several targets he said Moscow would want to hit in the event of a nuclear war. The targets, which Kiselyov described as U.S. presidential or military command centers, also included Fort Ritchie, a military training center in Maryland closed in 1998, McClellan, a U.S. Air Force base in California closed in 2001, and Jim Creek, a naval communications base in Washington state. Kiselyov, who is close to the Kremlin, said the "Tsirkon" ('Zircon') hypersonic missile that Russia is developing could hit the targets in less than five minutes if launched from Russian submarines. Hypersonic flight is generally taken to mean traveling through the atmosphere at more than five times the speed of sound. "For now, we're not threatening anyone, but if such a deployment takes place, our response will be instant," he said. Kiselyov is one of the main conduits of state television’s strongly anti-American tone, once saying Moscow could turn the United States into radioactive ash. Asked to comment on Kiselyov's report, the Kremlin said on Monday it did not interfere in state TV's editorial policy. 23. I think S&W autos are still pretty good deals in the Auto market. But the revolver market has seen a huge jump in prices. I could see them getting into Snake Gun price range, before too much longer, at least for their steel guns. The S&W Alloy and polymar frames seem to be a bit cheaper. There was a used S&W 638 that was running for a good price here, yesterday! And I see the little .38spl Bodyguards on sale here in Knoxville for around $299, brand new, from time to time. I've only read mixed review on these, though.
  24. Except it’s more than a few dollars. Minimum difference is about $150, but mostly between $200 or $300. Rugers are closer in price. When I was looking for 4” .357 last year, for general plinking, I was thinking S&W but the difference between a Taurus 627 Tracker and a S&W 686 was $300. I bought the Taurus. Now that being said, I picked a new S&W 442 at a Harvey’s FB Auction for $295, just recently! So you might very well find one for “a few dollars more”.
