  1. Glocks are boring as hell, but that being said, they just run and run and run and shoot good. Best all around semi-automatic on the market today. I'm a guy with Gen 2 17 and a Gen 5 45 with ameriglo night sights.
  2. Congratulations. You've made me jealous!

    Cornbread

My grandmothers both made cornbread. One made it every Sunday for lunch, after church. Mom made it every time we had soup beans or vegetable soup. I do the same.

Eggs is something I'm qualified to speak on, since I buy them all the time. I got 18 large for $2.97 at Kroger on Friday. Picked up another 18 large today for the same price. They are coming back down!
  6. Might get those fire starters to replace those near useless tweezers. I'll also order the toothpicks. I need to replace the others. I do use those.
  7. Picked up a new to me Victorinox Lock Blade Hunter knife on Sunday, while antiquing with my wife and youngest. It’s been carried, but never sharpened and the toothpick is missing. But I thought it was a good deal for $20. Looks like this. https://www.ebay.com/itm/374402881544?hash=item572c269808:g:dZ0AAOSwcwRjl3us&amdata=enc%3AAQAHAAAA8LL5h%2B3RGt21oqhTVRzbVqe45v0Twb5ICSTayGWWW%2FZYGvNbx%2B8avDZe1UioEBi4XrvGZTlJGQeYrq2OZqzIOgx7dNK6WRt0mu4Oq0pVJfWZpPYfd%2Bd0SUKKzGVlfzJw8d7jXbovjuwBxB4gY3QaSXVwtmJRjEXnPnnEAHskwDhC%2B7BbgYSmNtabqg8odGrnaAOkUGkmp5HKpMEn1eigeaehimXd99gmocq8bk88%2FrChlBV3qAgUFncpvoVrqNIxUbfCDSwJ3zO5aI2KVv8SDU6PF2%2Btqb7A1oDyx4vcF934Rl5htgz8lHds0A2SMDEq6Q%3D%3D|tkp%3ABk9SR47Js4bcYQ
  8. Well, I was set to go back to Bill’s Outpost in Maryville and work a trade on a Girsan today or tomorrow. But the best made plans oft go awry. I won an auction on Harvey’s Auction site for a very nice pencil barrel S&W Model 10-7 yesterday afternoon. So I will be working on getting that instead. Woe is me. Please don’t throw me in that briar patch!

Rob!!! Peejman took care of you! Enjoy my friend! I use the recipe on the back of the Three Rivers Cornmeal bag. I do add just a bit more liquid, as I think the recipe as is, is too dry after cooking, As for the sugar no sugar argument, I like it either way! I ain't picky unlike others here. And my waistline proves that. Also, I believe most mixes, if not all, use sugar,
  10. Looked at a Gray frame Girsan this afternoon, with a black slide. The price was $510. Seems a solid pistol. I've seen them cheaper though.
  11. My blade is black and the finish is starting wear off. I like your blade much better.
  12. I'd be a lot more likely to buy a 10mm than a 40 S&W. Just makes more sense to me, since I could see me using this more for a large predator defense gun, while hiking. I've always been committed to .38spl/.357mag/9mm.
  13. Sounds like it's past time for McNally to retire or be retired, by his constituents. Or at the very least, be nuetered by the Republican Party Leadership. To be honest, the Republican Party in Tennessee needs a wake up call from Firearms Enthusiasts. For too long, we have been courted during election season, only to be ignored when legislation comes to the table. The Republican Leadership considers us to a Voter Booty Call and frankly I'm damned tired of it. Of course, the flip side of is we have made significant inroads to changes in Gun Laws in this state. Just not enough and it seems everything is a damned uphill fight with the Legislature and the Governor.
  14. The P32 is the cause of my .32ACP infatuation. I carried one for a couple of years, but decided I needed a Ruger LCP. So I passed the little P32 on to my oldest daughter, who was looking for something small to carry. Found out I was not a fan of the original LCP. When they came out with the LCP Max, I traded it in. I really like the MAX. It's a great shooting little pistol! If it were in .32ACP, I'd probably be it's love slave!!!
  15. Oh, I doubt it would be a carry gun. I have others that's I'd carry much more often. My Primary is a Ruger Max9. If I have to carry something smaller, due to clothing concerns, then I carry a Ruger LCP Max, with an occasional foray out with a S&W 442 or a Glock 45. I just like the .32ACP round.
  16. I never carry it. It is too big. People that do carry it, usually use a belt pouch.
  17. Thank you! Do you have one of these? Wondering how they are rated? I also found this. https://www.simplyrugged.com/ecommerce/Pocket-Holster-Opti-Grab-for-Small-autos-with-small-optics.cfm?item_id=2536&parent=669
  18. I'd trade my .380 for another one in .32ACP.... <hint> <hint>...
  19. Yeah, I'm have a little bit a problem with anyone drinking, carrying a firearm as well... This needs to be dropped.
