  1. This forking guy^  It does seem to be working for me as of a minute or two ago though.
  2. Friend of mine in CA of all places has a set of Calicos and highly recommends them. They have their own idiosyncrasies, but are a a cool weapon nonetheless. I wouldn't imagine they are still below Comms budget, though IIRC they weren't much higher. High cyclical rate, low felt recoil, bottom ejection... Lot to love. Having to load and then charge the spring for 50 and 100 round mags sucks though, as does their spring issue with loving fully loaded mags fully charged under tension. Super neat, but I personally think Calico got about 1/2 way through designing the perfect PCP, then threw it to market.
  3. They did. Lot of pretty big name in the flick too. Ralph Machio, Something Dylan, or Dylan Whatshisface, Patrick Swayze even IIRC. Them and a whole lot of people who where lucky to do a Pepsi commercial after. Succes and fame be temperamental mistresses.
  4. Hmm, so an outlawish duck dynasty type deal I guess. I could dig that. I still haven't gotten my internet up and burned through a lot of data last month so I didn't watch the clip BTW :p Although if you want to talk loosing faith, when I moved I "got the last of the ammo" out no less than three times  . Even then on the last few days I found near a gallon sized ziplock worth of a box of .22 or three, some mosin ammo, misc pistol and rifle rounds, and a 100 round value pack of 12 gauge birdshot. :stunned: Luckily at my new place I have room to spread out some. Hopefully confining the ammo to one room for storage will work out if I can actually dedicate some real space to it and get it organized. Maybe I can even start reloading finally.
  5. I was on earlier for a minute seemed right on my end. Thanks David! A core group of us really do use and love the feature. You've made all 9 of us very happy.
  6. I thought this was about the movie about the book about the greasers. With Soda, and Johnny, and the soces. Never seen this one, what's it about?
  7. Eh, we'll keep it tame for the general public. I've seen even some of the more hardened members here log into chat, take one look at the conversation and log right back out  When we start debating the merits of sex lubes as casing lube based on price per weight, consistency and taste, just keep in mind casing lube tastes terrible and will ruin your sandwich or cigarette if it gets on your hands and you forget while multitasking...
  8. You know, I almost typed "no one to..." but I changed it. But seriously, some people out there still click my links believe it or not. :p
  9. Damn dude, those all look killer as usual. One of these days I'm going to have you do more work for me as your time and my money allows. I wish they made a blue gun for the Blackhawk, but one of these days is be willing to let you borrow mine for awhile I guess if it meant having a BA holster. I think your work is approaching the point where you'll be giving Alfonso's a run for their money in short order.
  10. Hopefully soon, I've got nobody to share my spontaneous insights and gwar videos with :(
  11. I searched through wcd's (OP) past few posts and didn't see anything worth linking to or really anything beyond typical forum chatter. It must have been behind the scenes or this is the opposite of an anti climax. An anticlimactic one at that.
  12. I vote for a JP enterprise side charging upper. Those things look cool in the face, then trip it face first in the dirt and walk off its girlfriend. Barring that I'd third or fourth the notion on the BCM charging handles.
  13. I did read the petition; I second btq96r. No offense, but I don't like my 'cage rattled' and I wouldn't sign that if I did think the petitions meant a thing. I agree with the sentiment, but if my John Hancock is going on something of governmental merit I want it to be better written than something I could tap out on the iPhone in my coffee break.
  14. I will typically do a cursory look to see if anything recent has been mentioned on an item, barring that I'll start a thread asking for feedback or if anyone has even handled whatever item before. That said I think it would be cool if people made use of the blog section to post reviews. That way it should turn up in s forum search, plus once members get established as writing solid reviews in topics you're interested in, we can follow them that way and keep track of new products and maybe even make requests for reviews on items.
  15. Pretty sure koko has dined on her own feces at one or several points in her life. At least picked some nuts or berries out to save for later. Why do we care what a monkey thinks anyway? If she was so smart she wouldn't be in a cage doing parlor tricks for bananas. Stupid monkey.
  16. Same here Dusty. TGO is a solid community and made even a transplant feel right at home. Most important I felt like while I was in TN and part of TGO in many ways I never walked alone. Solid community, if you're debating membership, give it a shot for 6 months and see if it makes sense for ya, if you're skirting the vendor status, shame on you. TGO is a labor of love for a much smaller percentage of folks than the ones what enjoy the benefits and privileges, all they ask is a pay to play paltry sum and as mentioned I can't think of cheaper, nonetheless more effective local advertising. I've sat through a lot of advertising schpeals and not a single entity out there could offer a more direct line to potentially interested, like minded, LOCAL individuals at 5x the rate David asks. Honestly not even at double that. And most of the ones that where 1/2 as effective wanted 5-10x PER MONTH.
  17. I'll wait and see it Netflix or whatever, I like some of his movies, some where just ok and some have stunk. Django was ok. It did have some great acting, but the writing was pretty weak. I kind of expect the same thing with this one, but I'll wait and see.
  18. I didn't realize it was still on. I've seen the American and British first seasons but never really looked into it beyond that.
  19. Jade Helm or the Kim Davis thread. Both were epic in their own distinctly different ways. I feel like Kim Davis was the mandatory family brawl where pent energy and frustration get let out in a giant free for all slug fest, where as I really feel like Jade Helm brought us all together as a cohesive family. In either case I don't think either of them will stand a chance against the chic fil-a thread in the thread of the decade contest in 4 years.
  20. Fix my teeth. Buy a new vehicle. Simple list but a spendy one. Better add one more.... Make more money.
  21. I was reading this with my phone and was scrolled over so the names and avatars are cut off (either that or have to scroll through each post up down and sideways) and my first though was "Oh, Dave will be quite pleased when he reads this...
  22. Just a WAG, but maybe it was a key tag for a piece of municipal property. Inmate or inanimate are my two guesses. Really narrows it down huh? :D
  23. Damn. Can't say it's a shame since it was a life well lived and fuller than most. I will say I saw it coming when I read an interview saying he had switched from Jack and coke to OJ and vodka. RIP Lemmy. http://youtu.be/o8lstC5SGPg
  24. Damn bro sorry to hear it. Second bit of crappy pet news I've heard over the holiday so far but at least you have the chance still at a happy ending for yours. Really hope your pooch makes its way home to you, or at least you find her in a shelter or Samaritans house or something.
  25. I'm on a Slade kick thanks to the Christmas thread lol. Love these guys. http://youtu.be/3HP6UblnU5Q https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=68db9iial_U# http://youtu.be/RPTk5poAa1c
