Back in early November I get my DL and HCP renewal, I set then aside having a few months to get them in the mail or go on line to renew. Well to my surprise I have to get a new pic made. I go to a kiosk here in town to get a new pic, I do stop by the desk to ask if I can do this for my HCP, nope. So off to the DMV in Lebanon, nice place, I ask why I have to get a new pic, I am told because I trun 60 years old. Now the new DL and HCP are good for 8 years and yep you guessed it, have to get a new pic. Now the good news the DL came in 10 days, CP in 14 days. So now I am good for 8 years.

As a child my parents saw a "skill" I had. I can look at a machine and see how it works, and better can "see" what is wrong when the machine is not working correctly. My parents feed that skill with books, models, erector sets and the like. I have always did the work of service and repair, to this day I love my job. So I do not have the "tired of being tired" thing. My issue has been management, bad or indifferent. I am early for work, do not lay out and do good work, stay late at times as well. This is where I get into trouble, when I need a day off or need to take off early I do, it rubs the boss the wrong way and I get into trouble. That said I just had an yearly eval, got a 2 dollar plus raise and an extra week of vacation. Enjoy your job and never work a day, or find a skill that you enjoy.
