As a former sailor that did go into combat, I hold the ones that did in high regard. I do not ask questions I just say thanks and treat them like a friend.

Get the Lady a Heritage 22 with both cylinders. Let her shoot the 22LR all day and load the Mag at night. If she has to use the pistol she could shoot a 44 mag loaded hot and not feel a thing. I have one she can use as long as she needs to.

Went and saw Mom and Dad, came home, took a nap. Went out back and shoot 100 rounds of 45 Colt. Good day all in all.

Gone go see my Mom and then to Dads. Sunday gona shoot some BP.

Bought some felt, end wraps from Sally's, made some lube from lard and wax. Soaked the felt in the lube to make 45 cal cookies. Made paper cartage's for a Cap and Ball pistol I had not shot. All in all every thing worked as should, hit the gong, no fouling, and cleaned up easy.

These are hunting handloads pure and simple, with this load taking big game all over the world. Speed and big fat boolit will do the job every time. I cast and reload both, I would go with the 44 mag only because, well, it is a 44 MAG!!!

You need a shop vac and a long hose, put the motor and canister out side. Let the vac pull the mess out side.

I received the very treatment from a used to be vendor here on the forum, walked out. Sent a message to the member letting them know how I was treated. Have not been back and it has been more than 3 years or so. As far as the OP, their store, their rules, I dont in there to buy anything.

Being in Miami I am guessing he is shooting down a canal or small inlet, most likely less than 100 yards.

We lived in South Miami when I was 8 or so (58) now, Boy Scouts was best, canoe trips about every month. As far as rat shooting, a Rugger 10/22 will do, a rat is a small target, just how far are you shooting? A 10/22 can be had from any LGS or box store.

Chamber empty, aim at a mirror, Move the cross hairs to cover the bore. This will get you on paper.
