Thanks, the hole is .020, I can barley see it with my glasses on. Yes, with bigger drippers, #6 can be made like this. Lead is clip on WW. This was more of a test, I wanted to use electric power, not gas. I did this in my reload room, I do have a power vent to keep air moving away from me. Thanks, look up shot drippers on youtube, been going on for years. The shot towers are a lost art for sure.

Yep I did it, been working on this for a few weeks. Picked up the pan and drippers from ebay. Coolant is cheap wally world fabric softener. Ammo cans stacked so the ramp is just clear of the coolant, large can to catch the over flow of coolant. I am using an electric stove top element and mapp torch to get things going and to keep the drippers flowing. The drippers will cool a bit and the torch keeps them warm. I made 5 lbs in about 30 mins, not bad for 3rd try. Size is 7 to 9 shot, some 11.

I picked up a little 5 shot 32 revolver, derringer, pocket pistol. It is a hoot to shoot with 10 grans of BP.

Yes it is a little round, 40 to 50 grans boolit, .5 to 1.5 grans of powder. Shell not much bigger than a 22 LR, and the small pistol primer fills the back end of the case. I cast for the little thing as well, a bit tedious at times, heck all the time. All that said I cast, powder coated and loaded a few this week end. I have 2 molds, a RCBS 25-50-RN, it drops a 50 gran boolit at .254, good looking boolit 2 at a time. The 2md ,mold a MeHic 25 HP that drops 3 at a time at 45 grans and .251. The green ones are the RCBS and the gray are the HP boolits. Since my powder measure will not drop less that 2.5 grans I made dippers, the top one is .5 for titegroup, the right one is 1.3 for green dot, the left was a test. Testing was good, no miss-feeds and hit a paper plate at 10 and 15 feet, with a less then 3 inch barrel I dont shoot out past 20 feet. It is a perfect round for getting varmints out of the chicken pen.

Question on brandishing and TN law
RED333 replied to jgradyc's topic in Handgun Carry and Self Defense
I have been known to pull and open my auto knife, to clean my nails and such. Is that "brandishing"? -
Until you hear from the TBI you are just guessing. Could be the prints are unreadable or yours match close to a bad guy.

The box on our left is a shooters box. You can see a pistol still in the box and a spoting scope mounted on the lid.

Rob Pincus - Bullets skipping off ground and over berm
RED333 replied to MrJones79's topic in General Chat
I will agree about shooting into the berm, he was shooting in the hard pack ground of the west. Ground there is hard as rock, easy to get a round to skip. Not so in the grass and soft dirt we have here. Now I have had some skip if shooting at a shallow angle. I chased a scope hitting the target all over the place, till I walked up to the target and saw the grass and dirt cut by the skips. All said just be careful and aim well. -

You never pay for what is done, you pay for the years of experience, school and the machine the work is done on. If you can do the job your self why pay someone else?

Anyone on here who uses 45 degree offset sights on their ARs?
RED333 replied to lock n' load's topic in Long Guns
You can keep the rifle upright and still sight in the 45 offset. Just look through the 45 sights. Yes you can bore sight any sight at any angle. As far as how much to turn, no idea as sights are diff from one to another. Try this, point your rifle at a mirror(unloaded ans safe) look through the sights at the mirror, adjust the sights so you are "sighted in" on the bore. -
Thanks, bit much money for me and my little back yard range.

Juat what is this?

That part in a modern window is way smaller, like 1/4 inch or so.

You give me way to much credit. If you can do with what you have on hand why spend money.

No, it is a real word. https://www.google.com/search?q=Sharoening&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8#q=Sharoening&nfpr=1 Being used to describe sharping of an edge.
