  1. You know what they say. As it will have to go through a FFL, you pick one near the seller. Send the seller to the FFL after you talk to the dealer. Ask for a phone call when the firearm shows up for transfer.
  2. No here as well, fav is SBH 44 mag with 8" barrel, not carrying it to easy.
  3. Well I did not get asked, my bet is no one else on this site got asked or the POS would not rank other than stink worse than a dead skunk!!!
  4. How long did it take you to do the checkering? Nice work, like the "1911" coins!!!
  5. Saddened by your loss, God bless.
  6. Less than 10 feet, you are good to go.
  7. 10 AWG is just big enough, if you cord is over 30 feet the volt drop might give you problems, #8 would be better. No, it will be OK
  8. I will 2nd this, limb crack, string bad and first pull could be your last. I too have been thinking about a cross bow(bad shoulder) but like the OP not wanting to speed more than a few hundred on a good set up.
  9. The .45 Colt (metric designation: 11.48×33mmR) cartridge is a handgun cartridge dating to 1872. 260 gr (17 g) JHP Buffalo Bore + P1,450 ft/s (440 m/s)1,214 ft·lbf (1,646 J) The .45 ACP (11.43×23mm) (Automatic Colt Pistol), also known as the .45 Auto by C.I.P. or 45 Auto by SAAMI, is a cartridge designed by John Browning in 1904. 230 gr (15 g) US Army Ball FMJ830 ft/s (250 m/s)352 ft·lbf (477 J) 45 Colt, the best 45 round, nuff said. Now go home and think about that. Yall know I am just pokeing fun.
  10. Now do not get upset, you have a few choices to make. 1 learn how and buy the tools. 2 bubby it in and then learn how. 3 pay for someone that has the know how and skill to do the job, after all you are not paying for what is done but what is known.
  11. I carry a 25ACP, laugh if you must, scouff if you want. I can get it out of my pocket, hide it in my hand, shoot it well with eather hand and hit the target. It is my get off me pistol. I do have pistols up to 44mag and 45 Colt. With the work I do I am on the ground on my side and back, not easy to have some thing bigger on my hip or in my pocket.
  12. Now you have let the cat out of the bag.
  13. Inside word is when you "mark site read" your device will get a virus, so do as you will.

  18. Well I did say "good" tree house, I am thinking steel clad with big spikes that shoot out at 3000 FPS.
  19. No, I would be in a good tree house!!! Hunting large dangerous game with a pistol is not on my bucket list. http://www.shootingtimes.com/handguns/handgun_reviews_handguns_for_dangerous_game_021511/
  20. Better than me, I am dead.
  21. Praying for the best
  22. Run it up the flag pole and let it fly!!!
  23. I have been getting them for a few days, a few a day. Not a big deal to me.
  24. Raised on a farm, seen a bull walk right through one. A friend fell off a motorbike into one, got wrapped up bad. Could not get out for being hit so much. I laughed my butt off all the way back to the house to kill the box. Yea they do hit hard, makes you yelp a bit.
  25. The last "flu shot" I had was over 30 years ago, made me sick for a week. I do get sick 2 or 3 times a year, I stay home because of a fever. Takes about 3 days to feel better and have no fever before I go back to work. Till more is done to up the percent of prevention I wont be taking the "flu shot". I know some will be upset at this thinking I should do more to stop the spread, well I am, I stay at home with a fever. I am a firm believer in building up the immune system naturally. I was playing with cars in the mud as others were play in their room staying "clean". Getting sick is a good thing sometimes.
