  1. Sweet rig! There is a guy over on cast boolits that hunts with a G20, casts and rolls his own loads. What load are you using?
  2. VERY NICE!!! You do great work.
  3. This is my SBH in 44 MAG. The Recovered round is a swaged bullet I made.
  4. The are "Ruger only" loads listed out there, but the loads must only be used in a listed Ruger. On a side note I have been looking halfheartedly for a Ruger SBH in 45 Colt, it can be loaded up to 10% just short of 44 Mag loads.

    Idiot HOF

Some swear that the blue flashing lights will give you the "deer in the head lights" effect.
  6. Not only NO, but HELL NO!!! Just shoot the 44sp from the rifle and be happy.
  7. Praying for all involved, this is a senseless loss of life that could have, should have been prevented.
  8. You and me both brother.
  9. I fix stuff, cars, trucks, boats, computers(way back), electrician, HVAC&R, just about anything mechanical, "If I can not fix it, it is destroyed". Restaurant equipment and refrigeration now.
  10. yep
  11. and I did get to keep my number
  12. I might have you beat, I still use a "flip phone", it belongs to the company I work for. I have not owned a personal phone in over 20 years. Now the company is upgrading my phone, it will be an Apple device. Seams that the old phone wont run apps that are required for work these days. First bad part is I will loose the number I have had all these years, yes I am going to try and keep the old phone just for the number.
  13. I pick up a gun at a gun show and point it at someone and pull the trigger and the gun fires and kills the person, 3 guesses who is going to jail, first 2 guesses do not count. Same same here, it is the person holding the firearm when it goes bang that is responsible.
  14. Well during the investigation it seems the crew had gone out that morning and use the firearm to shoot with. Then it was laid on the cart with all the other firearms, nobody knows how live round got put in it, why the hell would Baldwin point a firearm at somebody and pull the trigger. I am telling y’all, you just can’t fix stupid.
  15. I am surprised the panty waist even handled a firearm.
  16. I have more than a few smoke poles. If the inside of the barrel looks as bad as the lock, I would hang it on a wall after I wiped some oil on the metal you can see. The issue with BP is after it is fired it is very corrosive and will rust the metal. If it has been Neglected for more than a few months or years it may not be worth trying to clean up. How about some pics of the whole rifle? Try to get close-ups of the muzzle end.
  17. Thank you for your service.
  18. Welcome, the Jamestown are is one of the many beautiful places in TN. It has been a long time since I was there. Any way, welcome to the forum, FNG buys the first round, make mine a 44 Mag.
  19. I think it is a shift light, when the revs get to a preset number the light comes on. Thanks for sharing the pics
  20. Praying for the family and all involved.
  21. So I had to look this up, thanks, now I have to spend more money, but looks like a good investment.
  22. 3 hours one way is just to much, thanks for the post.
  23. I would say yes, you need to change the address, however wait till a few others chime in on this.
  24. I pulled into the lot and saw all the cars and trucks and left. Way to many folks for me.
  25. It is a lot of hoops to jump through, plus an auction is just the place to get caught up in the "heat of battle" and over pay for a firearm.
