  1. You need a wheel gun and something in tupperware so no guest will leave unhappy about their reception choices.
  2. The default renters insurance policy from Geico includes $2500 of firearms theft coverage. I bumped mine up to $5000 of coverage, plus a computer coverage rider. Premiums run about $20 per month for me.
  3. ETSU officially canceled all evening/night classes about half an hour ago.
  4. Just make sure you get a video yourself shooting that puppy offhand indoors. The rest of us would like to watch from the safety of the Internet.
  5. More than likely not. Two center mass hits to a non-vest wearing assailant won't always knock him down right away. Simple inertia, will power, and a few other factors will continue to drive somebody forward even after being shot. Of the 8 or 9 gunshot wound victims I remember from the three years I worked in the emergency room, four of them walked in under the own power. Guess what? All four had been shot in the chest or abdomen up to half an hour before showing up at our door.
  6. Depends on how big the five year old is... A good .270 load should be able to take a black bear... Granted, I'd personally prefer a magnum cartridge for bear hunting.
  7. That's why you take a video camera to the range with you.
  8. Fixed front, Troy rear flip with an EOTech 512 cowitnessed
  9. Take that $400, go to a range that has handguns for rent. Try as many of them as you can, if not every single thing they've got to offer. Explain to the friendly guy behind the counter what you're doing so he can explain things as you go. Maybe go to a TGO meet-n-shoot near you and ask to try out the different weapons people brought along. Odds are, most people will be happy to let you shoot their gun. Continue shooting everything you can possibly get your hands on until something feels right to you. Then save up your money to buy that one. Guns are like cars. Take them for a spin before you buy them.
  10. Or just use that .308 AR-15 you've got in the shop with some 168gr FMJ. That should manage to get through a thug's vest at close range. In all seriousness though... Mozambique drill.
  11. Truth in journalism... Wonder whatever happened to it.
  12. Too bad bobcat season is only Nov-Feb. Maybe if they beat up enough hippies we can get it extended a month or two. (=
  13. Yeah, it's a Glock 18 with the drum mag nobody uses. Not to mention a shoulder stock.
  14. Wonder if it would be classified as an AOW or an SBR...
  15. So go watch the girls soccer games instead. A bunch of athletic girls running around in daisy dukes.
  16. If you load it up with snakeshot rounds, it's both!
  17. When the big black helicopters start showing up, I'm blaming Marswolf.
  18. $80 for those ugly shoes? The salesgirl who conned you into buying those must've been SMOKIN hot Austin... We want pictures!
  19. Only around 20 of those receivers were ever made. And they get mad crazy cool points for saying Zombie on them.
  20. You just had a couple pieces of bad luck. A guy who lived down the hall from me my freshman year of college had a hand-me down early model Accord with 800k miles on it, and he's still driving it.
  21. Now you're making me want to make a quick road trip back down to Winchester to take that off your hands...
  22. I wish I'd known about that last Saturday. I'd have asked to see it. I've always wanted to see one of the Zombie Killers in person.
  23. I don't think any of us really want to be given the Security Clearance to know the answer to that question...
