  1. AD CLOSED; GUN HAS A NEW LOVING HOME I need to find a loving home for this SIG P210 Standard; the US-made version of the original P210. This has fixed sights and a reasonable-size grip, unlike the P210 Target, which adjustable sights and what I (and many others) consider an overly large target grip. This gun handles extremely well and is a great shooter. I'm the original owner of this gun and it's been shot less than 200 times. Comes with four OEM SIG magazines. As you can see, it's unblemished and in outstanding condition. $1200 to a Tennessee resident legally able to purchase handguns. I live in Chattanooga but will drive a reasonable distance for a sale. Trade possibilities: I'm looking for a Springfield EMP or other Commander-length (4 to 4.25 inches) 1911 9mm, also a Rem 870 in 12 or 20 gauge. Other possibilities considered, but no plastic guns or ARs (I have enough already). Thanks for looking, Whisper
  2. He was a long-time NRA member. He mentioned it in his 1993 and 2004 biographies. Cheers, Whisper
  3. It just told me that it wants to go live at your house. Cheers, Whisper
  4. GUN IS SOLD. German-made SIG P228 9mm, two-tone with electroless nickel slide and fire controls and with black anodized frame. KF stamp on slide indicates 1995 manufacture. This is the best condition SIG I've ever owned; it's immaculate. Not surprising for its age, the Trijicon night sights (also dated 1995) are dead. But the gun is perfect otherwise. Gun comes with two original SIG 10-round magazines (1995 was during the years of the Klinton Crime Bill), but there are also four new-in-the-wrapper MecGar 15-round magazines. Comes in original Sig box with unused trigger lock, but the manual has been lost. $750 to a Tennessee resident legally able to purchase handguns. For trades, I'm looking for a P220 with no rail, and a P239 9mm. Also a CZ P01 or SP01. Might consider others as well; let me know what you have. Don't need any Glocks or ARs. I'm located in Chattanooga; will drive a reasonable distance for a deal. Thanks for looking, Whisper
  5. Nice work, DTJC45. Please let us know how it runs. Cheers, Whisper
  6. Shooters Supply in Hixson, Montlake Freedom Works in Red Bank. Both have interesting used guns, including milsurp. Anthony's Armory, also in Red Bank, usually has some interesting consignment items but they're seldom open on Saturdays. Cheers, Whisper
  7. Yeah, same here. For a gun that expensive to be non-functional right out of the box, and the manufacturer not to have someone standing by to fix it the minute it gets back into the shop, is inexcusable. All manufactured products can have problems, but when you pay a premium price, you should get corresponding levels of service. Six to eight weeks ain't it. Cheers, Whisper
  8. Man, I have no use for it, but I'd still dearly love to have that FN. Cheers, Whisper
  9. Six to eight weeks? And that passes for customer service? Are they that swamped with returns of defective guns? Making a note to myself re future gun purchases.... Hope things work out for you, Whisper
  10. An awful lot is written and said about the accuracy of the Carcano, but almost all of it comes from people who know nothing. Here's an interesting article that I just came across this morning: Army Veteran Analyzes the Infamous Rifle That Ended JFK's Life | SOFREP (Short summary -- a trained rifleman could make this shot repeatedly.) Cheers, Whisper
  11. As a great appreciator of fine cookies, I lament his passing. Cheers, Whisper
  12. Nice gun. I'm not recognizing the device that's on the buffer tube. It's a stock, and not a brace, right? So this is an SBR and not a pistol? Just wanting to make sure.
  13. Which variant? How many magazines? Do you have the box? Thanks, Whisper
  14. I've replied to all PMs. Bump for the new week. Thanks for looking, Whisper
  15. Doesn't look like there's a market for these here, so I'll consign them. Thanks for looking, Whisper
  16. Too bad Scott DesJarlais didn't lose, too. Thomas Davis would have been an improvement.
  17. A thread back from the dead after 13 years. Is that a record? Maybe an administrator knows? Cheers, Whisper
  18. I used to have one of these. Wish I had it back. A wonderful gun.
  19. Man, those are wonderful bikes. What fun it would be to have one again....
  20. I'm reading impressive things about this gun, some from sources I respect. I'm eager to see one in real life. Cheers, Whisper
  21. I wonder if a folding-barrel AR is that much shorter than a folding-stock AR. Not a collapsible stock, but a true side-folder. It would be interesting to see some dimensions.
  22. The article is great. It provides a handy list of our enemies. I hope everyone reads this and votes accordingly. Cheers, Whisper
  23. Lots of Russian disinformation showing up on social media, too. Be careful what you read and recirculate. Social media is a cesspool of lying in the best days, and these aren't the best days. Cheers, Whisper
  24. SOLD Here's a complete P365 setup, ready to put on and go. You get the P365 (2019 production, so there's still plenty of life left in the tritium) with Wilson Combat grip module. Also you get seven OEM magazines -- two 10-round with flat floorplate, one 10-round with pinky rest floorplate, and four 13-round with extended finger rest floorplate. Comes with original box and all accessories, with one exception: I've somehow lost the original SIG grip module. I decided as soon as I bought the gun that the original grip was too small for my Size L hands, so I replaced it with the excellent Wilson Combat grip module, which is still small but feels more usable to me. I like the Wilson Combat much better, but if you'd prefer the smaller original SIG grip module, I see there's one here in the classified ads for $30. To round out the deal, I'm including a kydex AIWB holster. I'm selling this only because I have a P365XL that gets used often while this one sits in the safe. (The P365XL also has the Wilson Combat grip module. I think it's just great.) Since I don't have the factory grip module, I'll sell this rig for $475 to a TN resident legally able to purchase handguns. I live in Chattanooga but would be willing to drive a reasonable distance for a deal. Thanks for looking, Whisper
