No, if there were American made ones, we would HAVE to buy them.
-
Well, it's complicated, I'm in supply (demand side), and it's near impossible to find Berry Amendment compliant clothing anymore. So once we exhaust the search for a USA made item, we have to request a waiver to purchase ones made outside the U.S.

Well, why put an expensive buttstock like that on an AR upper unless you have to? And since it must be sold as a rifle lower, why waste $200 on doing an SBR on it? So with the pistol version, you have a lower you can do a rifle upper on, and change out the stock.
-
Yea, but the problem is sticking a 10.5" barrel atop one of those things. Used correctly those braces can be quite accurate.
-
You guys planning to move to CA or NYC? I can't think of a reason to go to a stock like that unless I had to. The pistol version I can see for those that don't like the current braces available ,but the rifle??

These MSM guys confuse me, they edit their stories and many time don't put what was edited. The first reports I read didn't mention the headshot, just a pass through and injuring others with a ricochet. And now this story has: So there is an eye witness saying "holding" the gun, and thinking it was a toy. How can that be when it was a dropped backpack?

I rotate between a G23 and an XD Sub, both in .40, but if I had to go to one, my G23 would win out. It's been with me for around 25-30 years, wears night sights and a laser and I can engage targets well at SD ranges night and day.

I think one guy shot another using such a camo/decoy this last year.

Stores that stock Black Powder in NE TN
Omega replied to Ronald_55's topic in Curio, Relics and Black Powder
Real BP doesn't breakdown, if stored properly, I'd use it. -
Different shooting, the head injury was here in TN I think. There is still a kid in the hospital in TN, not sure if it's a head injury though. The one that died in Vandy was a head injury. This one, the shot hit one, went through and grazed another, the rest were injured in the mayhem of running away.

Ammo seller to Las Vegas killer arrested on federal charge
Omega replied to DaveTN's topic in General Chat
Yea, just read that as well, but it was a whole box with two rounds having fingerprints. The other thing I read is that the law is only for pistol ammo, not rifle. -
Ammo seller to Las Vegas killer arrested on federal charge
Omega replied to DaveTN's topic in General Chat
According to another site, he had an 06 FFL, but they found his fingerprints on armor piercing ammo in the hotel room. So now they have to prove that he actually reloaded them and that they are indeed AP ammo, of which M855/SS109 is not. -
Ah, my bad. So what the heck does it do?

I seem to recall that 18 and over can possess a gun in the home, afield or in the car, but have to be 21 to buy or get a CCW permit.

Just a ray of sunshine ain't you? Far as I know, the police can't tresspass you in an establishment without a complainant, at least not in non posted private places, at least not now. They can't even have a car towed off private property, the land owner has to do it. The owner/management can call LEO, which will ask you to leave and only arrest if you refuse. Has there been many arrested for not having a shirt, shoes, in a similarly posted place without the business asking LEO to do so? Of course, there's always a possibility of an over zealous LEO doing so, but I would think they'd have a hard time making it stick.

Why should we have to pay to exercise a right? But I was only kidding about them having to pay, realy there should be no crime to these signs unless you are tresspassed by the business and you refuse to leave. Once they take that part away, official signage should be abolished as well. I bet if they did require payments for the signs, only the die-hard anti 2A would bother, and they would enforce all penalties they could too.
-
Ha, while we are dreaming lets add that the signs should cost them as much as it does us to get our permit.

I could care less if she steps down or not, if she abused public funds, make her pay it back and be done with it, if they deem it worth getting rid of her then start proceedings. The infidelity is between her and her husband, not the public, just like ole Bill C, if he would of come out and told the truth then I would be Ok with it too. Too much, IMHO, is made of all this sexual crap, it's human nature to want sex, and as long as two willing adults want to, well so be it.
-
My problem is not willful disregard of the sign but inadvertently going past it while something or someone is blocking the sign or your attention is on something else. I've no problem taking my business to a more gun friendly establishment if I know it's posted, but when a sign has a force of law a simple mistake can cost you plenty.

Congrats on the new addition to the Fam, and to our shooting community as I'm sure he'll be raised right.
