I liked it, but I watched it as a "seperate" movie, not depending too much on my SW knowledge. While there were several things to nit-pik about, it was an overall good movie. Much better IMHO than the force awakens.

Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, may it be better than last year.

I've only owned the Winchester, not a fan of 30/30 anymore, but here my views between the two. If you are going to use iron sights only get the Winchester, if you want a scope, get a Marlin. The side mounted scope works, but it does make it a bit awkward. Either one will do it's job within its capabilities, one thing though, if you intend to extend your range out beyond 150 yards, get something else.

I used one of the store bought refill valves a few times, but put my own together with a shutoff valve. It's L shape makes it much easier to refill the bottles, and the shutoff valve is much better than the regular valve. Most propane exchange places are around $20 bucks, which makes it more expensive than a refill. But when your tank is old, it's worth it to exchange them. Both my travel trailers had old tanks, they didn't even have the new connectors on them. As to batteries, I'm fixin to replace my trailer's battery to one that will last longer, probably an AGM out of walmart since the one for my boat lasted a decent time.

I refill my 1lb bottles from my 20lb tank, so far no issues with leaks even though I manipulate the pressure relief valve when I refill them. Though on occasion I have to wiggle it a bit to get them to seat well. I have only left them sit for a year though, so no track record past that, though I have read that they will eventually need to be discarded.

I've seen a few now and then on Craigslist but the recert always made me hesitant. I do ok with two tanks now, but they do get spent if I use the heater more.
-
Yea, I exchange my old tanks too. Didn't know amerigas would test for free, I may just get a bigger one now.
-
Yea, and some like this thread remind me of things I meant to do, such as that darn snorkel I meant to get. @bersaguy : have you looked into the date of manufacture/inspection date on some of your tanks? I was going to buy a larger tank than my two 20lb tanks on my travel trailer, maybe a 30 or 40lb to use out at my hunting property but the inspections kind of changed my mind. Right now, I refill my tanks until they won't refill them due to the date, then I exchange them. I save about 1/2 when I refill vs exchange.

We have a bunch of drones already in operation, from the smallest to some of the largest in existence. So far, as far as I know, only the larger platforms are weaponized, the smaller ones are relegated to surveillance duties, which IMO where they are best used. Currently, all our weaponized drones have a human element controlling them, and multiple levels of human authorizations needed to engage a target. I have seen where some of our smart bombs are programed with targeting algorithms to adjust trajectory in-flight, so it's not a stretch to think they can also be programed to be autonomous. But a certain target does have to be programed, and it is not going to deviate from its programming, so humans will be involved for the foreseeable future.

I like this guy, he's about right in line with my way of thinking on most things.

This is a 2 year old regulation, what site before this regulation was blocked? What particular infraction was prevented with this regulation? I have had various providers in the past, never had an issue accessing any site, including torrent sites. I've been with AT&T during the whole regulated period, never did anything for or against my access, so no issues here, so all I have to fall back on is my feeling that anything Obama related was crap, and so far I see nothing to change my sentiments any.
-
I never had a problem before this, and I doubt killing it will change anything. So like I said above, if Obama and Co was for this, then there must be some hidden poop sandwich being fed to us. I wonder if they will reverse the ICANN decision as well http://www.bbc.com/news/technology-37527719 Obama tried his best to give up as much US control over to the U.N. as he could, we need to get as much back as we can.

If Obama and Co wanted this, then it must be a poop sandwich for us.

House Passes Concealed Carry Reciprocity

I think he is referring to the fact that in TN, the signage has force of law. If you go into a posted business, you can be arrested if you are carrying, the business does not have to trespass you. In other states, the business has to ask you to leave, and you have to refuse before being arrested. -
I've been asked if there was anything that I would change if I could about my past, and the answer is always no. Though my past is not comparable to yours, it too shaped who I am, and I'm comfortable with that. You did a good thing, take pride in that; you seem to of overcame many difficulties, that is something to be proud of as well.

Can you tell where they milled it? And is it smooth or is it still rough? It may need some stoning to smooth it up, you may want to send it back if it needs more work; though it would of been nice if they did all that back at the factory the first time.

Nice, congrats! Only seen one buck on my property that nice, but that was years ago, sure he's gone by now. Most this year have been smaller racked ones, 6 or more points but small based.
-
Yes, though it took a few years to find out it's name. We were taught that due to higher incidents of enemy using body armor. And with many stories of perps surviving even large caliber hits to the torso gives me incentive enough to continue the drills today.

House Passes Concealed Carry Reciprocity

I don't know, many stories do have CCW Permits mentioned, though not always in a positive light. I don't thing that is actually being tracked as a stat though, as there are quite a few where no mention is made either way. I know that the NRA sends out Armed Citizen stories, but even there some don't mention it. -
Shooting at least three rounds, two at the body, one at the head, in a fast, controlled manner has been my method of training for the past 17 years. But situation will dictate, how you engage the target. You don't want to draw and shoot at a target that is not an immediate threat, and you don't want to take your time aiming at one that is.

Been using him for my friends for the last few years. Currently $70 for standard cut.

Yea, almost all brands do that, cheaper than including disks I guess. The repair utility program uses that to fix driver issues without losing your data, but due to the upgrade I doubt that would work. I always backup my user data so I will never lose it, even if I have to do a full reinstall of my operating system.
-
You can stop it, but you almost have to be expecting it, like the "free" Win10. I was off the net with my PC long enough to hear about that so I researched how to permanently stop it. Seems there is no good way to rollback that update either, so a full reinstall of the previous edition is almost necessary.
-
Might be my thin tinfoil hat, but I tend to believe that MS does this stuff on purpose to get you to buy new hardware. For most users, version upgrades are not needed, and "free" upgrades need to be looked upon with suspicion. Win XP was a very good operating system, the best Win version until Win 7 came out, Win 10 has nothing on 7 IMHO, unless you have a touchscreen. I tend not to buy new computers until they break, and then only if parts are not available. But for the last couple years, I've been using a tablet for all but my heaviest workload, so when I do turn on my laptop, it takes some time to run through the updates, which I verify before downloading, Win10 was specifically blocked.

? Unless it is a hardware issue, putting Win7 on it should take care of it. Win7 has been around long enough to have a robust collection of compatible drivers.
