  1. Where , I mean WHERE is the concealed carry here. What is the issue here?? Everything is in plain view.
  2. Condolences for your loss. It's a rough road to travel, I've traveled several times. Sucks every trip.
  3. Welcome to the forum as well. I've got the Lee "Kit", and used it to produce some very accurate ammo for one of my rifles, so it's possible/doable. I just started the trip down the reloading rabbit hole this year as well. Take it slow, read and read some more, and hook up with an experienced reloader if possible, or take a basic reloading class to get the general ideas needed to be safe. And continue to ask questions for clarification when needed. GL
  4. PM me your # and what loads you want, will text pictures of load data to you.
  5. CFE223 is in the Hornady Handbook of Cartridge Reloading 9th edition. Listed for 50-60gr Hornady boolits, and then 68-80gr in Service Rifle Data. Also listed in the 5.56MM Nato info as well. I've used it in one bolt gun and that one gun did not seem to like it all that well.
  6. Condolences for you and your family, but best wishes for your future in NC.
  7. I remember her, doesn't that count for something?
  8. I saw the first movie on FX, well, TV. Liked the lady in peril better. Will wait for it to be on TV again.
  9. I shot my first ARA match at ORSA last Saturday, Had a blast, met some really nice and helpful guys there who were willing to answer all my questions. Plan on doing it next year when the schedule starts back up. Hope you have a good turn out.
  10. Easier to "find" when you know where they gonna be.
  11. Has a timeline been established by TVA on this, or any other details???
  12. I too was very frustrated with the first half, and turned the channel thinking the game was over at half time. Turned it back over to see how the third qtr went and enjoyed the second half much more. Vols still need to play FOUR quarters of ball tho. I even watched the replay last night. LOL
  13. Why is the CDC issuing this report, shouldn't the TBI or Dept of Safety (someone in LE) be the correct ones to determine or classify accidental versus negligent??
  14. Shooter reportedly was fired in the meeting with the 2 supervisors per Knoxville noon news. The female supervisor who was killed was retired, but had come back to help train some other employees in HR related issues I assume but do not know for sure.
  15. I've seen some guys using xmas paper at the range myself, but they had the plain white side (no grids) and used it as the background for a grid target when sighting in rifles. The large white paper covers up all the other holes in the backer board so it's easier to see that first shot on a new scope and adjust from there.
  16. I kinda of figured that would be your response on the NF but had to ask anyways. Thanks.
  17. Nice rifle & shooting. Can you give a comparision between the NF and say the Weaver 36T? I'm considering an Anshultz MPR for fun and games at the local club, and just wondering if there is a significant difference. I have no experience with either scope as of yet.
  18. Thanks for the info. Guess I will warm up my "google fu" and see what I can find. Thanks again.
  19. Thanks for the suggestions, will look for some different brands of ammo and try that. I was/am wanting to check the head space myself or by a GS rather than just having to send the rifle back to Savage without having a decent idea of what was wrong with it in the first place. Be a good learning experience for me anyways. Any special tools needed to strip the bolt down like you suggested?
  20. Somewhat surprised, but not really. Big banks like WF & BOA, etc., have monthy, quarterly, annual sales and growth quotas as part of their budgets. If dept's don't meet their portion of the goal(s), then they get poor annual evaluations, no raises, etc. Large banks also have incentive plans for employees so if they open up xx number of new credit card accts, they get a $xx bonus or something. Article references "robust internal controls", uh no.
  21. First trip to the range with the new gun, all factory ammo, no reloads and was getting some raised primers, and that was the suggestion to me from a forum dedicated to this caliber. Fiocchi 40 & 32 gr vmax ammo, the 40 gr had numerous raised primers and the 32 gr had some as well but not near the extent of the 40gr load. This the 40 gr, the round in the center is an unfired round Here are the 32gr rounds, the round on top so to speak is unfired Suggestions welcome.
  22. Anybody have a set of go/no go gauges I can borrow or use. I live in between Knoxville and Chattanooga, or know of a smith that has a set in the area that I can make a visit to??
  23. check for local tourneys, most are catch and release, but they might have some leftovers that might help. GL
