  1. I doubt UT will win even one SEC game this year.
  2. On 11/1/17, bought a 10/22 carbine, a Feddersen's 16.5" fluted barrel & BX trigger group and an Archangle stock, then on 11/4 went to a buddy's house to tear the OEM stuff off and put the improved stuff on, put a 4x12 scope on it until I found something better. Took it to the range yesterday to sight it in and ran ~200 rounds thru it. Half to 3/4" groups with cheapo ammo yesterday. Have a Weaver 36x coming in the mail should make cutting cards and small groups easier when I find the ammo it likes. After getting the above rifle put together, went to another LGS with my buddy, ended up bring home a Ruger 22/45 Lite in bronze & black, and have a Ruger can in jail now. The Lite and the Feddersen barrel are factory threaded, so I thought why the hell not. LOL
  3. I've read a couple of news stories and heard the talk on TV as well. The $$ amount of the buyout not in question, the comment about just Pilot Oil/Haslam/Dish $$ going straight to the buyout issue is probably not in line with NCAA rules/regulations.
  4. The part about "donor $$", Pilot/Dish $$.
  5. Still no source, just speculation on your part.
  6. What is your source for this????
  7. I used to smoke cigars on occasion, but was just a phase I went thru. I ordered some from Thompson Cigar and other online/mail order places at times. Usually had free shipping back then but don't know these days. A good cigar and adult bev is a good thing, especially when you can be truly undisturbed. I still buy one on occasion, but rare these days.
  8. Way too much of these best friends passing away. Truly sorry for your loss.
  9. it's crumbling down around 'ol Butch.
  10. THE ONLY reason UT would get a bowl bid is because of the loyal (?) fan base that will travel to any warm climate for a bowl game. That sells tickets to a lower tier bowl game and tourist $$ to the town. How many times has UT been to Orlando/Jacksonville/FL bowl game and it's close to or is a sell out.
  11. Was good to see you, too long in between visits. Was easy to tell ya where it went, much easier than putting the hole(s) in the paper. LOL.
  12. I cut my own hair (buzz cut) but I do tip myself by buying something gun related. Seems like that is all I buy anymore is gun related stuff. LOL.
  13. Condolences and best wishes during this bumpy ride.
  14. I've noticed it as well but luckily most/all the items of interest for me are not local. And I'm retired. LOL
  15. Probably a 270 win mag at sunrise woke a few up. LOL
  16. For you hunters who have overnight travel to your leases. LOL. Got this in an email
  17. Fulmer had a winning record and was a good coach for the most part, but I do agree he got complacent in the last few years. His play book consisted of running play over the left guard, running play over the right guard, incomplete pass, and punt. Good thing we had the Colquitts back then.
  18. Channel 8 news/sports is saying a 35 point underdog right now. UT can't afford the $14 million, hopefully they won't extend his contract at the end of this dismal season.
  19. Not a computer expert by any means, but if you create a "folder" in the pictures portion on your computer, and then move/copy/xfer all of the pics you want to backup into that particular folder, then just export that folder to a jump/thumb drive, or maybe a SD card. Most packages on the thumbdrive/sd card indicate how many pictures or songs or whatever data it will hold. I realize photobucket messed alot of people over for 3rd party sharing, but I assume you can still use PB for safe storage purposes.
  20. A difficult time indeed. Wife and I lost our boxer 9/16/17 to seizures, happened right after a walk that she always enjoyed. We had her cremated, I put some of her remains in all our vehicles, and just buried a portion of her remains out in the back yard where she liked to lay in the sun and roll in the grass. She will always be with us as she did not like being left at home the past couple of years she was with us. Prayers for you during this time.
  21. Doubt there is a compression release, it's probably a 5hp motor which should not be much harder than a push mower BUT, you do have the water pressure & pump to spin it up. Since it's new, make sure there is oil in the motor, water hose is connected AND turned on, then release all air thru the pump and hose until you get a steady stream of water coming from the wand/nozzel. Then start to pull the starter rope. Without releasing all the air in the pump it will be difficult to pull.. Since it's new, it might be just cold blooded.
  22. Buddy of mine at ORSA has/used a RPR in 243 to compete in the local HP matches there, and was competitive based on the scores I saw. Don't know if he still shoots HP or not.
  23. We gave our boxer Roxy a bath in our walk in shower that is equipped with a separate hand held shower hose. We would just ask her if she wanted a bath, she would follow us into the bathroom, walk into the shower stall and stand there while we gave her the bath. She loved the attention and rubbing, and she got a chance to drink from the shower head which she also loved. When done with the bath, she would stand still while I toweled her off, and stood still for a hair dryer as well. She never put up a fight or resisted taking a bath. We got very lucky with Roxy.
