  1. I've still not drove out through 70 yet. They may still be cleaning up some. My sister and brother in law live just off 70 and I've not been to visit them yet. Now the virus has got bad too.
  2. No, crimp is the same as other lead bullet loads. They are softer than the other 2 hard cast bullets though. Like I said the Hornady's shoot good out of a 6" gun though.
  3. Yeah I cleaned before I shot these. 2 other loads I shot right after these, shot good. I shot 10 of these and 2 or 3 out of 5 would keyhole. The other loads were a 158 gr, fp and the other was a 159 gr. swchp. They both shot fine. But, were harder because they are cast.
  4. Oh yeah, as far as popularity goes, its everywhere.
  5. About 15 yards. Apparently this little gun don't like'm. Hard cast shoots good. I may try loading lighter standard pressure loads.
  6. Actually the .308 and .300 Win. Mag. ain't exactly spring chickens.
  7. I wondered if anybody has had experience with this. I'm shooting out of a 2' barreled .357 Magnum. The load is a +p level .38 Spl. I think its the ahort barrel and soft lead. They shoot good out of a 6" gun.
  8. Good post. Hope you have a good day.
  9. Never bought a damn thing from them assholes.
  10. I like the lever and side by side models. Never been a big fan of the tactical models. I've shot some but, always liked models that are more utilitarian.
  11. Daaannnnggg! I'm glad they're ok.
  12. Right around 17" is about right for good velocity. I'd imagine with slower powder handloads it might be better in a carbine.
  13. Yeah, I forgot the Libs/Leftists/Dems are all a bunch of little bitches too.
  14. Yeah, the media is a little bitch. Fox is the only one I care to watch. All the rest are all out communists.
  15. Ok, I see now that they do offer a longer barrel version. sorry.
  16. Well, its got a butt stock. That makes it a carbine, right? But, it's got a short barrel too. I thought carbines had to have a 16.25" barrel minimum.
  17. They need to offer it with a longer barrel.
  18. I didn't know for a long time that Mickey Jones, the drummer in Doyle Hargraves band in Sling Blade was Kenny's drummer for awhile. Two or three of the guys in that movie band are musicians.
  19. CTD, yeah they're bastards. I've got probably enough ammo. I might pick up some more but, ain't gonna kill myself to go get it.
  20. .30-06 may be old but, she's still out there running.
  21. I was sorry to hear this too. My brother introduced me to Kenny's music when I was about 8 or 9. It was early stuff with the 5th Dimension. Sort of rock style.
