  1. There are several mainstream offerings such as, P365, Hellcat, S&W Shield. Have had them all and they all will do the job if I do mine. Now more into proper holster and ammo than the most popular rocket. Most people ignore the holster. Many never really shoot their carry gun enough to become competent with it.
  2. The laser has adjustments which would allow you to point it at where you shoot, within limits. Presuming your grouping is consistent. Red dots do the same thing and are also better in bright light. It’s one of things where you have to try it to see if it for you or not Remember that lasers usually require a holster which allows for their added bulk. To some extent red dots also do
  3. My P320 has gone off in the gun cabinet. It was unloaded when I stored it. Somehow it loaded itself and fired multiple times. Thus destroying my Smith and Wesson, Glock, Springfield and Ruger handguns stored there i suspect the P320 has AI and doesn’t like competition.
  4. The P365 and Hellcat are very similar. Preferred the stock trigger on the Sig but the stock sights on the Hellcat. Both functioned well
  5. The Apex is going to be a better trigger. Have had all three HOWEVER, if it is going to be a edc. my preference is to stay with the stock trigger. Others may not see this as a legal problem. I don’t say it will be always a problem. But could be a area an attorney uses against you in a lawsuit after a defensive incident
  6. I think Winchester officially announced it yesterday. Only one offering so far, https://winchester.com/Products/Ammunition/Rifle/Power-Point/X4001 2250 fps is just between the Win FMJ 145 gr loading and the Hornady SP 145 gbr for 350 legend. Of course the 400 is a much heavier bullet. How it turns out, let's see?
  7. In a personal defense situation, daily carry, will it function? How fast can it read your prints when being drawn rapidly to stop a threat? What if you grip is off due to a panic situation of physical fight? How about sweat or debris on your hands? Gloves in winter?
  8. Don't see one. Henry and CVA make single shot 350L's but neither have a threaded barrel. Guess you could have your silencer shop thread it???
  9. If I were to take up pimpin'
  10. https://winchester.com/Products/Ammunition/400-Legend So it’s official now
  11. Just a rumor at this point. However it makes a lot of sense to offer 40cal in a brush buster round Wonder of it will fizzle or catch on. The 350 Legend certainly has caught on and made a name for itself. I load for it and find it quite fun A friend of mine has taken quite a few deer with it. What will the 400 Legend bring to the table?
  12. Wait, there is one more to consider: https://www.americanhunter.org/content/first-look-henry-big-boy-revolver/ Not to be jaded, but it offers little for the price over existing S&W, Ruger, and Colt offerings. But guess we handgun aficionados are required to salivate over it.
  13. btw, I have the adjustable hybrid trigger. Not the competition kit. It made a huge difference
  14. I have one of their triggers on my p320 and absolutely love it https://grayguns.com/product-tag/p320/
  15. Price drop, but last one or it stays in rotation $699.95 cash ftf Sevierville area.
  16. Last chance before turning it into a "Safe Queen" I love this gun but have not carried it much. Need to finance another sidearm venture. Sell for $660.00 Cash in or close around Sevierville, ftf only. Must be able to legally own a firearm in the State of TN (show id) Not open to trade at this price. Bought this new at the end of 21. Probably 5-6 hundred down the tube. Shoots Sig 115 and 124 gr hollow points and others tried just fine. Comes with firearm, mounted Holosun 407 kx2 (6moa),Apex trigger, DeSantis Holster and extra Springfield 13 round magazine (three mags total) Holosun was properly mounted by a local armorer. Comes as shown in pictures: Serial number obscured for photograph only. Leave message and will respond with my phone number to text or call for more info.
  17. Possibly it was bent by someone trying to disassemble the weapon AFTER the failure. It is hard for me to visualize the mechanics of a squib failure bending that part of the frame.
  18. Great choice.
  19. Had two P365's. One bought myself, other from friend who passed away. Both nice guns. Try locking the slide open before inserting a full magazine into the grip. Then just slingshot the slide to release it or, if you want to look like a rookie, use the slide release The mags do get easier to load as they are cycled. Eventually you should be able to put a full mag in on a closed slide without slapping it so hard. The Hellcat mags seems easier to me, jmo. All in all, sounds like a great purchase. Now, get a Holosun kx2 for it. Make sure any holster you get now will work with a red dot mounted. Enjoy!
  20. My comment was only concerning concealed carry. If that is your aim, look for a good leather holster. Holsters make a great difference for concealed carry.
  21. Wish I could afford one. They seem very well made and have not heard of any bad complaints. Did notice that the DASA versions seem to have a light DA trigger pull. At least the ones I drooled over recently at the gun stores. I carry a snubbie 38 and love the 2" barrel. For some reason the extra 1" makes a 3" a lot harder to conceal. Any 2" barrel gun will have visible muzzle blast at night. But to be honest, so have the 4" and 6" revolvers I have owned. There is still enough barrel on a 2" snubbie to greatly exceed the performance of a 2" 38 spl. btw, on revolvers the barrel length does not include the chamber. So a 2" 38/357 revolver has a somewhat equivalent barrel length to a 3" 9mm
  22. It's the same tactic rich people and large corporations use to get their way. Both have more money to spend on lawyers than do most of the people and organizations, they are screwing over. The courts don't mean anything to tyrants.
  23. Anxious to hear how it works out! Seems that 10mm has just about replaced 40 s&w in terms of interest. Might have to get one myself. Ok when primers are available again (reasonabe prices)or loading.

Favor the Sig Elite V-Crown bullets. 124 gr 9mm and 125 gr 38 spl +P compact handgun are two I carry. Appreciate that both perform well in tests and that they are affordable. Affordable means I can cycle a mag or cylinder without worrying about going broke, If I carry 9mm ammo so expensive am afraid to shoot it, albeit sparingly, it may or may not function in the gun when needed, JMO, you asked for opinions and I have a LOT OF THEM! p.s. Not in favor of the 147 gr in a micro compact. In a duty pistol, yeah.
