I like the Glock mag angle, and takedown capabilities as well. Hopefully Ruger has the bugs worked out. But I plan to wait and read some TGO & PF generated reviews first.

Post the last firearm related thing you bought!

I recently read an article (in SWAT mag?). That's an interesting concept device. I hope you'll share your thoughts on it once worked with it a bit. -
If you're referring to the Circle 10's, no sir, I don't. As best I can recall I picked up mine through K-Var a couple of years after the Clinton Era "sunset". It also looks like most sites list "out of stock" for the RomAk mags. Apparently I'm not of much help on this. Hopefully Dolomite will chime in with some useful suggestions LOL.

I have several Arsenal "Circle 10" polymer AK mags that have run 100% reliably for me... but they have become cost prohibitive (for my wallet anyway). Midway does carry them. The majority of my AK mags are steel ribbed Romanian 30 and 20 rounders. They are built like tanks and are my personal favorites. I actually have some cheap Tapco polymer 30 and 20 rd AK mags that serve well for range use. I had to sand the feed lips and sides a bit... but they were cheap. I've never tried the MagPul, ProMag, nor Korean mags. But no reason you can't own a box full of various mags. These are the Golden Days for buying what you need.

I was fortunate enough to purchase the below linked Factory Blemished PA RDS for $69.99 (plus shipping) Nov 23rd. I received it yesterday. The dot is sharp and clear. The brightness setting in a side control knob vs the "push button" control on my other PA RDS. I'm pleased. http://www.primaryarms.com/primary-arms-special-order-advanced-microdot-md-rb-ad-sp -
I had a Glock 23 stolen out of my truck in 1995. Slidell (Louisiana) PD still contacts me each year. FWIW my homeowners policy covered the theft of gun and related gear that was stolen. I agree that stiff penalties sans plea bargaining would deter at least some of this. I too deplore a thief. Scum!

I'm thankful for all of what has come before during my life, as it has brought me to where I am now. Good, Bad, and indifferent I am Blessed beyond my comprehension and Thank the Good Lord for it daily. This is a "normal" workweek for me as "We Never Close". But you all are in my thoughts and I wish you each a great Thanksgiving.

I'm glad you guys got to meet AJ (GTG). He is in fact a great guy and someone I am very fortunate to be able to call a friend. Congrats on the trading guys. I love bartering, especially when mutual needs are met. Good on you guys! Jamie

Tagging in you I can see where this goes! Awesome idea and concept Gordon! I admire your imagination and skill. Thank you for sharing this with us. -
Definitely a big Happy Birthday to the Corps! From an old-ass Corpsman long ago, it was an Honor to have served beside you.

Not to my knowledge (which is obviously limited). And I am the only person using this particular computer. I actually switched to Chrome yesterday...and still get the same image I post as a photo above when I try to reply using Chrome. I'm on IE at present and this is working fine. FWIW it's only on TGO (as a forum) that I have this issue. I'm working my usual 12 hr shifts today and tomorrow, but will try and get my son to check it this coming Saturday. He lives about 50 miles away, but can remote access my computer. He has great Geek-skillz! Red...I do feel like I broke the internet! LOL -
My condolences as well Res. I know the pain but I also know the Blessing of loving our furry critters, and being loved by them. Prayers out for you Sir.

Thanks Omega. I'm having the same issue when I open Chrome and try to respond... Guess I'll leave IE and TGO setup for now. I need to reach out to my "Tech Support" (my Son) when he gets off work. -

Thanks Omega. My browser is Firefox. I've used it since before I joined in 2009. Current...as far as I know. The Quote function brigs up the exact same page I photographed. If I click it again...as in to open it, no change. I'm perplexed. -

And this may be a blessing to some... I have no issues with my cellphone, but my laptop home computer doesn't give me a dialogue box. I'm a "technotard" no doubt. I'll try and post a screenshot below.

Bullets ~ looking back..................
Jamie Jackson replied to Bob Wright's topic in Ammunition and Reloading
Pretty cool looking Red! Could you elaborate a bit on the 3 cartridges in the middle? -
CJ...Then be happy with your choices. Having read this thread twice now,it seems like you're trolling for a negative response. People are merely sharing their experiences...not trying to change your mind nor persuade you purchase a Glock. I happen to carry a Glock 19 for the past 20 years, better than 50K of rounds through it...but that's an example of one and an opinion of one. I could care less what others choose other than a passing interest ... to each their own CJ.

God has Blessed you and Kasey Doug..with each other. And I believe, in my heart, you'll be reunited when the time is right. Prayers for you Good Sir. Jamie

The Official Range Photo Thread (Prove That You Shoot)
Jamie Jackson replied to TGO David's topic in Training Discussions
Thank you Red. I hope you'll post and let us know if you have the opportunity to run a drum mag in it. I am really wanting a Pistol Caliber Carbine (9mm actually) these days. The Aero is different from what I was thinking...but it has a few options that are interesting and appealing. -

Red, I was unfamiliar with the Aero Survival Rifle "kit". Looks intriguing. I searched and read several reviews, based on those I'm curious as to whether or not you've had any magazine issues. The consensus seems to be if you have Glock mags that work, they work well...but some Glock mags may not work. What are your thoughts Sir?
