Yes, I heard that from Reece at the Gun Crew yesterday. Disappointing, but gives me a bit of time to recover. Did look lustfully at a Springer Operator in 9mm though. Very tempting pistol. For some strange reason, I've really become addicted to the 1911 in the past few years.

Good info, David. I have yet to see either of my current interests...the CZ P10c or the M&P in the 5" tan. I really need to stop looking though. I really don't need to find either one at this time. Too little gun fund balance now.

I haven't gotten to see one yet, but good to hear some positive comments from an old M&P guy. Uh...make that long time M&P fan.

Heck...I've been hanging around here for close to 8 years and I still feel like a newcomer. Way too many guys that outrank me in knowledge to worry about titles and points. I just try to enjoy this place and not say something to get booted. And believe me...at times I've had to erase my comments and start over.

Proud for you! And a bit envious as well. -
I'm so sorry for your loss my friend. Although it's been 24 years since I lost my dad, I still feel the loss, and cherish his memory.

Never had any experience with the Bersa line. You and bersaguy are making me real curious.

Lots of good recommendations here, and I wouldn't turn down any if given to me. lol I do have several 22lr guns; revolvers and auto-loaders. So I may be a bit prejudiced in my choices here. I personally prefer the S&W revolvers. I find them easier to shoot than the autos. The 617 in about any barrel length is great, but I prefer the 4" model. I do have an older M17 that is great as well. Also have Rugers in revolver forms. The Sp101 3", and several MK II and III in 4". Of the Rugers I own, the SP101 I find the least satisfying for me. I'll paraphrase some of the comments above, and add my spin to them. A Good 22 will rarely be found cheap. Expect to see 500-600 as a baseline for most of them. The SR22 is an exception of course. Fondle all of them you can, and shoot them if possible. As always, what works for us may not suit you. Good luck in your search.

Yeah, I'd go for the brown as well.

Hey...it's early in the morning. I can barely see. Can't sleep. Got a pinched nerve in my neck and shoulder, so I probably won't be out anywhere for a few more days.

Yes, I saw that earlier this evening. Wish I weren't under a buying moratorium.

Sweet. I have one of the Jericho kits and the pistols are great!

Yes, it almost makes me like an iwb setup.

When I bought mine a few months back; I was told that the no-safety model would probably be out...someday. To my knowledge, it hasn't happened yet.

I'm glad it worked out for you, but for my taste it didn't. There are many pocket 9s that I found much more pleasant to shoot and carry than the PF9/11 series. I've owned a Shield since it was introduced and find it best for me. Yes, it's a bit larger, though not by much; and much more agreeable to me right out of the box. I've done absolutely nothing to either Shield that I've owned and very happy with them. Each has been boringly reliable and accurate. I shoot a mag or two at each range session to keep acquainted with it, and have found nothing I like any more than it. But that's just me and my opinion. That's why so many different guns are available. Not everyone likes the same one.

Yeah, ...I got that about the 6/7th time. lol I laughed at it. Mostly, I range from 67(too dang close) to 42. As I kept going, I managed to consistently be 42. I wish.

I saw some of that(photographs from odd shots) and had to wonder about it. Some of that had a really staged look about it. The guys running around screaming "Don't Shoot! Hands Up!" and kneeling in front of the cameras, then looking back at the camera as if checking to see if the shot had been gotten. And what's up with all the masks and full-face bandanas? You want to tell us how great you are, and how terrible Trump and the new government is; then be a man about it! Show your freaking face! Let us know you are something more than a shill for the left. Something more than an agitator out to cause trouble by breaking windows, turning over trashcans, setting fires to cars, etc. And who comes to a political protest rally with hammers, and mini crowbars? This is a peaceful protest? Sure. You just thought that the bricks on the sidewalks needed work and you all were going to help the city maintenance workers by taking them up. I personally believe that you/we have the right and the mandate to protest and say how/what we feel. But when the vandalism starts, when the first window is broken, the cars are torched, and you start throwing bricks at the police and firefighters...the white gloves should come off. If you can give out...be ready to take your well deserved treatment! I have absolutely no love/respect/concern for rioters. Bring on the tear gas, water cannons, and the cuffs. Arrest and prosecute them to the fullest extent possible. Sorry...I rant. But I really hate people who do things like that.

The same line I've used for years. Lately...she's beginning to question if that's true or not. -
Same here, buddy. My wife came in last fall after a little shopping trip, telling me she'd bought a lightweight electric chain saw that she could use by herself. After poo-poo -ing the little thing; she huffed off and nothing else was said about it. Until...I needed to cut a few limbs that had dropped from a slowly dying hackberry. Well, I thought, might as well try it. The limbs are close enough to the garage that I can run a long extension cord out and try the little saw. I was greatly impressed with it. It cut thru up to about 8" with no problems. I did go back and apologize to her. It was beneficial to my wellbeing.

Ok. Maybe I'm just real dense...but I really don't understand this reaction from so many supposedly intelligent and normal people. Yes, I know I'm assuming those 2 things about raving liberals. My many times mentioned liberal neighborhood is crying today. Posting on faceplant all about how dire this situation is, how we're all doomed to hell because Trump is now president. A couple of the females even said they were going to march in protest. Sheeesh. I need out of here. Oh, before I forget, thanks for posting the pic. It really is funny.

4 TP9sa mags for my Canik Elite. Can't have too many mags. I think 6 is the minimum number for me. -
My prayer for you and your family from a fellow horsepower fan.

Musicman...didn't I hear you to be a 40 fan?

Darn good looking rifle! It would look good over any fireplace mantle!
