  1. If you haven't seen B vs S, watch the extended version. It's much better. A bit longer, but does a better job of showing the characters and the depth of the struggles, both physically and emotionally, between them. I had few hopes for the movie, and I'm a die-hard comic movie fan. but this was more than just good, it may just have been the best Superman ever. Henry Cavell was fantastic in it. And as a pitch for his other work in The Man from Uncle was very good as well.
  2. Good job! My fraternal grandparents used "chaw" and snuff. Remember those words? lol Neither one quite until their 70's. I was just a wee tike, but I remember the smells just about killed me. Anyway...Congratulations!
  3. Dang, I swore I hit quote on that. Sorry for the confusion.
  4. Yeah, I thought you'd like that.
  5. Ok guys...I know this gun. It's great. If I didn't already have one like it, and being short of green stuff...I'd go for it. If you even ever thought of a CZ , this is one for you!
  6. If you're paying...I'll be there as so as I shower.
  7. Details?
  8. I plan on going to try one. Maybe ship you one?
  9. Looks to me like a hype type response hoping to appeal to the closet warriors, the wanna be's, and similar to the hype presented by Sig to ramp sales up on the Legion guns. No, I'm not against Springfield, I just think this is all just marketing for us to be drawn in.
  10. LOL! Yep, true. I keep thinking I'd like another Beretta. Then I remember that I have kept only one of the ones that have come to me, ant that's one of the Desert Storm marked guns. But as this one was an M9...it was tempting. And the palindrome serial number on it was nice. Oh well, guess I'll stay with what I got.
  11. Whoa! OK...that lets me out. lol
  12. That is a thought, but we still are supporting, if indirectly, the system that is pushing against us. Hollywood is such a liberally controlled entity that sometimes the only way to fight back is thru public opinion and commentary. jmo
  13. Any idea on pricing? Hint, Hint.
  14. Love the serial number. Is this one in the shop? Yours?
  15. I read so much, and so many different genre that I can't remember the plot to Nothing to Lose, but I've enjoyed all the Reacher books. I saw something on one of the entertainment news shows alluding to Cruse doing at least one more; that he liked these more than the Mission Impossible movies. True or not, who knows? These shows throw out all kinds of things just to reel us in.
  16. I did as well. 2 people in line ahead of me and about 20 voting machines. The poll workers kept us moving right along. Less than 5 minutes overall.
  17. Not by much. lol Wish I could have gotten one, but just wasn't possible now.
  18. Oh my Lord...what did I start???
  19. As a reformed comic collector, I can honestly say I've never read the first Walking Dead comic or book. So I can just roll along with the insane stories the writers come up with. So many holes in the story and improbable (in a stated zombie apocolyse, improbable?) actions and deeds, that I just have to watch and go along with it. And yes, I did have to rescind my earlier disclaimer of not watching any more.
  20. Daayyeeemm!!! That's slicker'n owl poop!
  21. You just had to say that, didn't you! Probably jinxed the whole thing now...and we'll be back to the SSSLLLLOOOOOWWWW stuff.
  22. I like your assessment. I don't personally care for the Carl character, but this progression on the show has been...interesting? I do look forward to seeing where this goes.
  23. Me too. I like venison, so hopefully it will be good. I'll have to schedule a trip out that way.
  24. Yes, the story compression necessary to fit most books into a 2hour or less movie is sometimes bad for the movie. But so far, I can't get too upset with Cruise's portrayal of Jack Reacher. My only problem is that having read all the books, I still think Tom is a midget version of Jack. lol
