  1. What do you think about a laser? I've been giving thought to some sort of small optical sight lately. Possibly a Burris FastFire 111 or like the Bushnell First Strike. A laser/light combo does make a lot of sense though. Just too many options and too little money to do it all at once though.

    Now What?

Sure is. But it's either pay willis for the Godson...or buy the ammo.

    Now What?

Yes, I keep looking longingly at it. lol Just need to keep the expenses down for now. Darn it.
  4. Are you off your meds? lol Would be great, but I doubt it happening. However...I could be wrong.
  5. They aren't extras...just spares so you can grab another quickly.
  6. Joe, I gladly count you as a friend. Our few meets and conversations showed me a man of character. A man we will miss being close by. But that doesn't mean you will or should forget us here. As has been said before, you can still chime in and let us know how you are. Maybe even give us a little flack now and then.
  7. I see...I thinks I likes it. lol Really.

    Far sighted?
  9. Think about the size you think you actually need...then double it. Seriously, I mean it. Your safe will be full immediately. You'll need and want more room. Buy as big as you can afford. You will not regret getting a safe bigger than you think you need. However you will greatly regret getting one that's "just big enough."
  10. I like it! Looks very classic. And looks to be in very good shape.
  11. Good pairing. I like them.
  12. Looks cool. Not for me though. I'd have to go with something along the lines of burnt bronze. Yeah...I'm not a flashy sort of guy. Unless you consider that one instance a few years back....
  13. I agree. I've been watching the Forged in Fire, and it sure makes it look fascinating.
  14. LOL
  15. Naw...Walther PPQ, M&P, and HK had a three way. This is the result.
  16. Yeah...especially Yeah...I hated it when I was working for Keystone. Driving back up from Columbia, I'd be getting to the Brentwood and 24/65 junctions in the dark. It was terrible. Driving a 16 foot box truck is difficult enough in that traffic, but add all the lights and it's real pain in the patootie. So all you road warriors out there...stay safe.
  17. Sort of off-track here; but on the subject of Glocks and their warranty/durability. I really was a big fan of Glocks in the mid-2000s and up till about 3/4 years ago. Thought there was nothing else to buy. They were the end all of handguns. Never went out without one. More recently, I find that there are many other brands out there that intrigue me more. They feel better, look better, and maybe even shoot better for me. So much has happened that I can't say I've shot a Glock in the last few years. (No...that's a lie. I shot Steelharp's 45 a couple months ago.) I still like them, even still have one squirreled away around the house for quick pickup. But more and more, I find that my Walthers, Canik TP9, and assorted 1911s occupy my range time and thoughts when a pistol is wanted. Heck...I've even sold a few Glocks! Gasp! Anyway, this thread got me to thinking about them. Still good dependable firearms. Don't hesitate at all in thoughts of depending on one. It's probably the only one(s) I own that have never given a problem of any sort. I now return us to the original thread thoughts...Glock warranty and questionable lgs dealings.
  18. I can't help but wonder how the Glock people would feel about this.
  19. I love the 9mm carbines. Maybe a 45 is next for me. I'll be watching and waiting for updates on this project.
  20. I think that's a wise choice. Let us know how it affects your personal country. LOL Looks like you got an answer while I was typing in my comment. Seems like the results are all positive.
  21. I missed out. I'd planned to go this afternoon, but garage cleaning took a lot longer than I expected.
  22. Got me beat. But...I'll raise you a Scorpion. Pure fun!
  23. I completely understood. I just re-read my own post, and I think I got a little carried away. But that's normal for me.
