  1. As far as I know, Century is the only importer for the Canik line. But that's not to say it's absolute. I will say I'm extremely happy with mine. Enough so that, I'm thinking of another one to go with it. The TP9sa is a great range gun. Very good trigger with a super reset that is very easily felt and heard. As mentioned, it's no small pistol though. I'd put it in the 1911 size range. So it is carryable, but maybe bit of a printing issue with the 18 and 20 round mags. I have just about decided I like it better than my Glocks.
  2. Nope...4000 is my top bid.
  3. Dang! Another opportunity I missed. Any Chance someone ordered a spare 3X you'd like to part with?
  4. I agree on the SP01, buddy. It's a bit heavy in comparison to all our poly guns; but dang does it feel good and shoot great. I took mine out yesterday with the intent of running a few downrange. Instead got sidetracked on a Walther P1 instead. I am sooo OCD! At least that's what my wife tells me. lol
  5. Congrats! Family heirlooms are the greatest!
  6. Very good! He almost makes me believe it. lol
  7. FWIW....I like the change back. But I'm so lost it really doesn't matter.
  8. Maybe, but I doubt it. We did our dinner outing today instead of on Saturday. Boss lady took a couple days off to get her shop cleaned and organized. She went to meet our new doctor today. Sadly, our family doctor passed away a few weeks ago. So she went to talk with one we had hoped to take us on. So afterwards, we went out for a late lunch today. That means a lost day that we will probably try and make up Saturday.
  9. Well, that lets me out. If I'm lucky, I'll get in there about noon and have lunch with the guys and try to sight in a couple guns, then out. I'll get to you sometime.
  10. Yes, I know. I actually like it more than your first choice.
  11. Darn you! My #5. Thanks.
  12. That is a very sweet setup! I'd love one...but the same old story...money.
  13. You did not say that?!?!?! I can carry all my guns. One at a time. Maybe not concealed...but I can carry them. lol You do have point there, buddy. But sometimes carry just isn't the only reason for buying/owning. Of course you know I'd say that. Working day tomorrow? I'm thinking I'll be in your town for a while.
  14. Well that was a face full of cold water and a letdown.
  15. Obnoxious smart phone is my timepiece, use appointment function on it...sometimes. The calendar beside my desk is my normal appointment book, if I don't forget to look at it. But all my appointments these days are docs. Usually set weeks ahead. Giving me to time forget them.
  16. Who cares? It's a beautiful CZ. Just buy it.
  17. I haven't worn a watch since 1998. But that is impressive and might tempt me to try again.
  18. I won't ask. Unfortunately I have my own reasons for knowing. lol
  19. Good comments from you all. Reasonable and valid, as far as I'm concerned, from both sides. However, I'm personally of the opinion that a look to verify my, or yours, identity and residence, is sufficient for a sale if you ask the prerequisite questions: Are you prohibited from owning/purchasing a firearm? Are you of age to purchase? Are you a legal resident of this state? Of course my feelings and read on the person I'm dealing with enter into things as well. I do not routinely use a Bill of Sale form. I do if transferring a weapon I bought from an FFL, or if it is one I purchased from someone requiring a BOS from me, I will ask for one as well. When I do require one from a buyer, I try to make it plain in the beginning so there is no surprise. I will admit to forgetting to do it a couple of times. Then I will apologize up front, explain the situation, and give the buyer a choice...do it or not. If there is any problem or reluctance to do it I will say "Thank you and I'm sorry for wasting your time." I have not had anyone turn down a purchase, nor have I under this situation. I do use a form similar to what xsubsailor and DaveTN use. Otherwise, I'm with Mr & Mrs Monkeyman, I do not like my Name/Address/ETC floating around. Yes, these days anybody with a modicum of pc/internet savvy could probably find all that out, but I just don't freely give it away. I had a person ask to take a picture of my DL once. That stopped me cold. No need for that to be had by anyone.
  20. True...but pics weren't up then. So the field was wide open.
  21. A question for you guys. How do you feel about giving address and DL# on Personal Bill of Sale like this?
  22. If I didn't like you, I might be tempted to be a bit jealous here.
  23. So am I. But I do watch the time a bit. Like to know when the wife is due so I can fake looking busy.
  24. They are very...slimming. Yea...slimming. And comfy.
  25. "Aged" Yes...like a fine wine. We get better with age. Right? Well...some do. I'm falling apart faster than a speeding hp round hitting a block of ballistic gel.
