  1. I got to put a few rounds thru one a couple of weeks ago. I fell in love with it. It is an awesome platform. One of the I can't tell you where deals(a sample on loan), but take my word for it. This is one very nice rifle!
  2. Keep the details coming. I like hearing them. Been wanting an M1 for a while, but reluctant to add another caliber to the mix. You are giving me hope.
  3. Sounds good, peejman! A bit sexist perhaps...but good. Since my medical retirement...I cook, clean, and sit around in my underwear. Yoga pants don't look good on me.
  4. Ditto. Does this make me old? lol I still like the 185 grain rounds, and have maybe 500 JHP lying around for "special use."

    Ruger or S&W

Having started my gun life as a revolver shooter, I agree with your comments, mostly. I do have an SP101 and a GP100, as well as a 686 and a couple of Smith 19 pistols. While the Rugers are built like tanks and probably more long-term durable than the Smiths, I can't wipe the smile off my face when I take out a Model 19. The 19 is just the pinnacle of the Smith revolver for me. I shoot them better than the Ruger, I guess that's why I favor them. The 4" is a great tackdriver, and the 19 snubbie with T-grip is just plain fun to shoot as well. And either of them are accurate out to the edge of my capabilities and far beyond. But not dissing the Rugers. They just feel different to me. The hammerless 101 is just plain sweet.

Craig, stop being so mean to those guys. lol
  7. Men. What ya gonna do with us. lol
  8. I completely agree with you. I've had to stop from posting on this thread. I get so wound up I just want to scream to Heaven over it. And usually end saying some rather unkind things to boot. The lack of respect from our countrymen is mind boggling to me. I was raised to be polite, thoughtful, and courteous of others. Say the Pledge of Allegiance, stand for our Flag and National Anthem. Seems that those values, and many others, have been forgotten.
  9. I understand. I'm lusting after the ZT0900 myself.
  10. I almost traded the 20 for a Rock 10. But thought better of it at the time. Yeah, that willis...our resident dealer for our knife fixations. lol
  11. Sorry, no. I did sell a G20 to a friend. I just wasn't man enough evidently to handle the 10mm. I just didn't get comfortable with it. Might try again in a steel frame sometime.
  12. Yeah...those are nice. But you ruined my fantasy.
  13. Young lady, you seem to have a problem there. Don't like the Smith revolver? That's just wrong. And dumping 1911s for Glocks...that's worse. lol Hey, each to his/her own favorites. If it don't fit you for any reason, pass it on. I never was fond of the 1911 platform or the AR. Always those damn plastic pistols as my brother-in-law calls them. Glocks, Xds, Sigs, all of them. Then I bought a 1911, at his instance; and I was hooked. You know...a real metal framed gun, something with some weight to it. Went back to shooting my namesake guns....the BHPs. Then CZs and a slew of 1911s. Then the rifle bug got me. Aks and then ARs. But that got expensive, so I had to get the number down to one of each...sadly. My Glocks are just sitting around looking...well like sad, unused Glocks. I even sold a couple of them. Gasp!
  14. Deleted post. I read your comment wrong. Sorry.
  15. Can't help you on the radish issue, but you are completely right on the Santa Fe pronunciation. lol I worked a parts route that took me to a few mechanical and backyard body shops that were there. It's sort of hard to find if you're not looking for it. And equally hard to get out of if you don't know all the roads. I stopped several times to ask for directions to the home/shop of a guy that worked on old Volkswagons. After the first time or two, I learned Fee instead of Fay. And yes, I pretty much got the reception you mention, Mark.
  16. Some very nice additions. I like the looks of the new PDW a lot.
  17. Thanks. That's a great idea. Should my lottery winnings every come in...I'll do the same. Unfortunately for us all, I've never won anything in lotto ticket buying.
  18. Interesting designs, some I really like. But this broke old man is with MR&MRS Monkey...I'd rather buy another gun.
  19. Steve, aka willis68, is one of the best, of many, people I've had dealings with on TGO or elsewhere. I've bought almost every TGO knife he has offered to us and been very well pleased with each and every one. Dealing with Steve has been a pleasurable experience, although a costly one. Being on a very tight budget these days, I have had to forego some of the last offerings, and I really regret that. Although not a big collector, nor am I very knowledgeable about knives; I have found that I'm developing a fondness for sharp, pointy, and shiny things. Not all of which is the fault of Steve. But...he has made the affliction more prominent in my life.
  20. Bad judgement. Really bad taste in ad work.
  21. Nope. You're not. I'm betting on a deleted pic of Christina Hendricks.

    Sig P320 RX

Interesting commentary. Enough so to make me curious about the 320 package. I have not been thrilled with the whole mini red dot line on other pistols I've tried, so this may not be any different; but will take a look at it when the opportunity presents.
  23. If you did this...take credit. looks good to me.
  24. You have ruined mine! lol You really are getting to be as bad as the street-corner dealers! I need a job.
  25. Gorgeous...as usual, GT!
