Careful there. You guys will have CommsnBombs coming back to haunt you over those good sounding comments on the lowly .40. lol -
Sometimes I feel that I have to tippy-toe around with my words. These days the slightest little thing will set some people off. And I have been told that I am by several people, not here, because I may have sounded unsympathetic to the BLM movement. But mostly from the people on Facebook. I just love to torment them with my unabashed foul comments. Actually was told I was racist because I didn't vote for Barack there, and then found it was one of my less conservative neighbors who had said it. lol I love my neighborhood. lol
-
In my case, change that to Neighbors. I believe I'm the only conservative, and pretty sure the only firearms owner on my street.

Personal taste I guess. I found the Keltec to be a better shooter for me. Less felt recoil and I liked the Prvy 32 acp rounds I had for it. Thought them a better penetrator than the 380. Of course it's all subjective. Personal likes enter into like all others.

I didn't know it was going to happen. lol It was a great surprise. The specific details I can't go into, but that doesn't matter. It was still very impressive and much fun.

I haven't. But really haven't been looking for them. Do wish I'd kept mine. It's better than my little Ruger. jmo

I try to maintain a cool head in seeing some of these protest, counter protest, or whatever. But I must say this video physically sickens me. First the person getting hit. I've seen and heard that first hand. It's not pretty. Secondly, the crowd reaction was abominable. Expected in the high temper situations we see nowadays, but still nonetheless way out of control. Thirdly, the shooting at the lady who came back to help(?). That was uncalled for and totally evil. An action born of pure hatred and a quest for revenge. I won't pretend to say I understand all that has gone on within the African-American community, for I don't. All I do know is that the political machinations of the last 10-20 years have created a divide within this country and all its people that we may not recover from. I pray that is not the case. But back on point, this is the first I've heard of this incident, and I sort of live on the internet and news sites lately. Maybe the wrong ones, but all new to me. I am undeniably heartened by your analysis and observations on the incident. Yes I know this makes me sound like...well a racist. And how I hate that word. It has divided more people lately than the presidential race. I grew up in a rural area that was a hard core, traditional, old school democratic, and in a family that was the same. I won't lie to you or anyone else that I didn't get raised in an environment that used some pretty strong language against "people of color", (and that's another phrase I'm not happy with.) or have some attitudes that I've had to work hard to overcome. I believe I have. But I grew out of that, and have been totally dismayed by all the hatred that has been reborn recently. I don't have an answer, and probably shouldn't even comment on all this. But I'm so very happy to see people try and overcome the impulse reactions to violence against one another. Yes I know the video didn't show that. But reactions here do. And I have a little hope.

Impressive! I can relate to the animals not liking it. A few years back, I had a really good full head, gorilla mask for a party. I came home with it on thinking to scare my wife. Instead I almost got eaten by our 90lb Chow. I came thru the door. She saw me, growled like only a dog in protective mode can do, and leaped on me. I tore the mask getting it off. I can only imagine what a terrified parrot would do. You need my collection of old Star Wars toys to go with it. lol

I'm sure you've heard this before. You have done a wonderful job with your children. Raising them with love and good teachings. It shows in their accomplishments. And all done in love. That's quite evident in the way you "speak" of them.

Congratulations to you both! I think your son and his trophy will have to take family bragging rights on this trip.

Congratulations to you both. These days anything over 10 is a miracle.

Yes, they will really go at each other over a feeding station. lol And Yes, I'm old. I enjoy watching them as well. I was sitting on the front porch resting this afternoon and one went to the feeder a few times, then came an hovered about 2 feet from my face for 10 seconds or so. Don't know if it was a thank you or if he was telling me it was time to change the food. I seldom put more than a couple of ounces in the feeder at a time. In this heat, it seems to sour pretty fast.

Wish I'd known/thought of that a few years ago. I came home and found my Chow-Chow sitting at the gate waiting for me. She had gotten into one of the mouse pads. She was sitting there looking so pitiful with her paw raised up for me to see it. Luckily for me, Cody had only gotten a little hair stuck on it so it came off without too much problem.

This is still funny. No matter how many times I see it.

Ok, let's get this back on track. I got the chance to shoot a Carbine version yesterday. It was fantastic! I can't say enough good about it. Like yours, this one also had the trigger replaced and the extended charging handle. Makes quite a nice difference in handling the rifle. It shot great. Was terrifically accurate. Of course the 1000 buck optic system on it might have helped me with it. lol The one I shot had the welded faux suppressor on it, so I got a good feel for what it would be like finished out. It really has me thinking about not going the SBR route, and just getting a carbine instead. Overall, I can't really see much difference if I did that. And what's worse...I got to run a mag thru a Bren as well. The less said here the better. I LOVED IT! Plain and simple.

I was pretty young at the time, but I vaguely remember this speech because of my dad. He was a strong southern democrat. Raved strongly against the concept of a Catholic president and how the Roman Catholic Church/Vatican would control his actions and thus America. But Dad was swayed by this and several other of JFK's speeches and became a staunch supporter of John F. Kennedy. To the dismay of several of our family and friends at the time.

Simple...buy another Shield 45. lol

FWIW. I had already sent a PT111 in for service work before all this happened. I did receive a Gen 2 PT 24/7 to replace it. I just got lucky. when my dealer found out about it, he raised a big fuss and they sent me the 24/7 since none of the newer Gen 2 111's were available then. It's a better pistol than the 111 was.

You sir, might have a problem there. lol

My prayers for you and your family now. I miss my parents very much...so those of you who can... Follow nOrlf's advice. Cherish and call all you can.

Great price. I'd have to take it for that too. Even if just to park it till I did something with it.

Good comments. I have seen and tried the AK style at the NRA Convention while at the CZ booth, and was shown some other AM parts and features there. But it was such a crowded booth I really don't remember much of it. I will be looking at several replacement parts for my Scorpion, some for durability concerns, but the stock safety must go. It just aggravates me rubbing my fingers while shooting.
