That was good compared to some of the 60's biker movies.

Go back to the 60's. That's some bad ****! I know...I was at a lot of them. Sometimes I even watched a few.

DANG!!! This guy's got talent! I just spent 45 minutes or so listening to various bits. Let me tell you...I have not one iota of musical talent or ability in my whole body...but that don't mean I can't like and appreciate all kinds. And while the metal style doesn't always get my attention; this did. I'll be watching others of his.

Russ Meyer's Beyond the Valley of the Dolls. Or any movie he made...if you like melons in pairs.

Garbage! I actually took my wife to see it when it opened. MISTAKE of the worst kind. It didn't help.

Call Comms...he'll straighten all this out. After all, it was 40 something.

TGO Protech Magic Official thread CLOSED

Hey, Good Morning, buddy. I just sent payment, but it was to the trevas5kids account. I didn't see this morning's post beforehand. Is this a problem? -
Sorry, I wasn't explicit on that one. lol Sleepy from some meds, and I shouldn't have been on here last night. I tend to get more open and straightforward than I should be, or so my wife says, when I have a few pills going. And yes, I was gigging Steelharp on our history.

Have you ever in your life kept a gun long enough to break it in or even try to like it? lol
-
Yeah. And what was in it?
-
I like it. But we should send the bags at Christmas time!

I was just thinking about these the other day. I am soo glad the thread as resurfaced. It contains some of the funniest things I've ever read! I almost choked to death on my coke the first time I read this. It still brings tears of laughter reading it.

Gift to wife (Kind of weapons related) Oldie but a goodie
hipower replied to bersaguy's topic in Show and Tell
This is one of the best tales ever! I've run across it before, but it never fails to give me a chuckle and a belly laugh or two. -
Amazing...we gone from lamenting George Kennedy to praising Don Knotts. lol Nothing wrong with it, both were fantastic actors and had a presence that will be missed. Todays's actors, and I use the term very loosely, cannot hold a candle for these gentlemen.
-
Dang! I read all this and no answer for either????
-
VERY NICE! Am quite envious.

I just snorted my diet coke on the desk.

And your point IS what? GREAT!

Yes, we had one like that for over 10 years. A great lady. She came to our yard sales, a cookout or two, and was welcome any time. Sadly, she got another route last fall. The replacements, they seem to cycle 3 throughout the week, are all useless. One shoves mail in the box like a kid with toys...all mashed and crumpled. My magazines get ripped and torn. One never closed the box. I've picked up mail all over the street and in the ditches, not to mention getting mail for neighbors and some 2 and 3 streets away. But the real pearl of the bunch...well I actually chased him down during the last heavy snow we had. I happened to be looking out my window as he drove down the street. Something just told me I should watch. Sure enough, this prize winner drove off the street, thru the yard and circled around a hackberry tree to end facing outward and pulled up beside the box. And then dropped about half the mail in the mud and snow in the drive. When I picked up my jaw, I ran screaming out the door trying to get him to stop. Needless to say, he did not. Did I mention it was cold and snowy, and that I was in sandles and robe heading for the show? Froze my little tushie out there. I did dress and catch up with him, where I somewhat lost it and not so politely asked him what in the hell he was doing driving thru the yard. He sat in his little truck and said "I thought the drive was there." Whereupon I totally lost it. Yes, bad form and all that. But I was totally pissed by now. I told him he was lying, I'd seen him on the route many times and that he full well knew where it was and that he hadn't driven in the yard before. He continued saying he didn't know where the drive was. So before I got hauled in for manslaughter, I left. Went straight to the local station, and asked for the postmaster. He refused to see me that afternoon. He was too busy. To sum it up. Postmaster, when he did see me the nest day, sided with the driver. Said he probably couldn't see in the snow and said it wouldn't happen again. Bull. As with you, my UPS and FEDEX guys are great. Carry my boxes to the front porch, Place them in corners out of sight. Play with my dog if I'm home and she is out. One even recognized the PSA label one day and we had a nice little chat. They get cards and gift certificates. The USPS guy gets squat from me.

Hey now. That's not cool. You getting like Comms now?
