  1. Dang. Must be a better class of sales in East Tn. The last couple I been to around here have junky stuff priced like gold plated platinum.
  2. Red333 is actually Pink255.
  3. Won't help. All you'll do is get paint on your monitor trying to cover those hideous things over.
  4. Phooey, I thought you were gonna show us some "Z"     Seriously...now I'm gonna have to dig out some Warren and listen for a few days. I'll "lawyers, guns, and money'' bouncing around in my head for weeks.
  5. I wish you hadn't pointed those out. Now I can't stop looking at them.
  6. That's still an awesome looking gun!
  7. Congratulations!! Very nice score.
  8. I'm so sorry. I do know the pain and loss you are experiencing. I have been there. Just know you will see Ernie in Heaven, where he will be pain free and waiting for you.
  9. Thanks to all for the information. I've got plenty of things to check on and research for best fit for us.   I do appreciate all the input.
  10.   Yes, I understand that possibility. We have rarely had service issues where we live(I know that could change at any time.) and we plan on keep the cell service till shutting down other phone service as well.
  11. Sorry about that. I guess my poor old memory is faulty once again.
  12. OK guys, I would appreciate any comments you would have on phone service thru Comcast. We've been thinking about dumping the land line and joining the 21st century, but my wife is against it because of several reasons I won't go into. I'm thinking of it along the lines of lowering the total bill by dropping AT&T, combining everything on Comcast and getting their "reduced" rate for a package deal. I guess what I'm asking is along the lines of this. Do any of you have it? What's it like? Any pros or cons you'd care to mention? I appreciate anything you might tell me on it. Thanks.
  13. RK Shows, I believe is the promoter. Rk is about the only game in this part of the state recently, except for the "Goodman" organization. And not all of the RK shows are bad. As far as the Lebanon show, I reallythink the location is a big part of it. That and the fact that of late it's hard not to see a gun show almost every weekend within a reasonable driving distance. I don't have the show list in front of me right now, but I seem to remember that starting In January, there are shows locally for 4-6 weeks. I may be wrong, but I swear that's what I read on the flyer.
  14. What he said.
  15. Sorry about that, Steel. I guess I got confused during all the introductions. You know how old guys like us get.
  16. Thanks for the compliment, bersaguy. I thoroughly enjoyed it myself. Would have been better if Steelharp had furnished some refreshments for us though. LOL     Also got to meet a few of the guys at Sumner Guns as well Seems like a very nice bunch of guys, even Steelharp.   Don't know that I've been treated like an old friend like that before when first walking into a shop. It made quite an impression on me and I will be going back there again.
  17. Awesome!
  18. WOW!!   Excellent job.
  19. Yep. I stopped buying when the 556 cans started hitting 12+.   Thankfully, I had bought all I reasonably could use at 8 per can.
  20.   I agree. I didn't say there was a shortage. It's just sellers trying to make a profit on an item that has high interest from potential buyers.   But...another thing adding to this is that the guy I've bought from tells me that no matter how many he gets, some of his biggest sales come from others wanting to buy and resell. Salvage stores, flea market stores, GUN stores, etc.   So prices get inflated as they spread thru the market place.
  21.   Just way too many of us talking about them and wanting more...so the price is going up. Whatever the traffic will bear.
  22. Yes, I understand and feel your pain. I looked at quite a few and realized I was od'ing on info. I had to back off.   I did like the Razor, my budget did not.   I did entertain the notion of the Kronos, and haven't completely ruled it out. Price and abilities almost make up for the size.
  23. And yet, we are being forced into them for home use.   Thank you, Al Gore.
  24. Great job, nightrunner. Couldn't have said it better myself.
