  1. You dress up for Target??
  2.   Another Taurus guy!?!?!  We are an endangered specie. My favorite is an old PT100. Although I still have my PT145 Pro as well.   Might need to shoot that one again.
  3. Young upstart whippersnapper!!!   You got a way to go yet...to catch up with the really old farts around here.
  4.  Yes, I have the G34 as well. Had it for about 3 years I think. I've only taken it out once. :ugh:  Yes, I know that's stupid, but I do have several good excuses.
  5. WOW...just wow. That's all I can say.   I was talking with my brother-in-law this morning trying to tell him about all this. Even as disorganized with it as I was, he thought it was a fantastic acquisition. He's not a True Civil War buff, but is very knowledgeable on weaponry in general, and seemed exited by the story.   For my own little contribution...I wish we weren't so far apart; I'd really liked to have helped (?) you by taking the Remington off your hands. LOL  Is that cruel?   Anyway best of luck to you on this deal, and on your truck as well.
  6.   I would too...if there weren't so many who come awfully close to believing that.
  7. No, Erik, it is the orginal box and accessories.   I'm really torn here. But I'm gonna wait and see what I can find out about it.   My brother-in-law is going to the Shot Show and is going to try and find a Glock contact to ask about it.   We will see.
  8.   Unlikely, as this is appears to be a NIB unfired pistol with 15 round mags.      Erik, it has an RBX prefix. And unless I'm blind, which is possible, I didn't fid it listed as yet. If you see something I'd appreciate it.   And no, it's not a compensated version.
  9. Going thru the safe tonight looking for my G34 that I traded for last year.   Guess what, I was wrong. It's a G24. 6" competition model.    Anyone have thoughts, comments, experience with them?
  10. That's a good thought about the P99 mags. The grip angle is similar, but I don't have a mag to compare to your pic. The obvious difference is the baseplate and how it would mate with the TP9.   It's at least worth checking out.   Thanks for the comments. Did you see the Titanium slide version? It looks pretty cool.
  11. Very well said, Leroy. I heartily approve of your comments.
  12.   Yes most of the rifles were too long for her. But she didn't seem to have too hard a time holding them, and didn't seem to have a problem with recoil on any of them.
  13. What?? And give up all the attention he's getting for telling the world what a great guy his new buddy is?
  14. Good for her!   I thought it looked like she had more reaction to firing the G21 than anything else.
  15.   In the mid 80's, I was at a Bill Goodman show at the fairgrounds and ran across a dealer with 3 SS Smiths. A 2/4/6 inch 357, all near perfect. All in orginal boxes and great shape. He offered them to me for 850 bucks. Man I was sweatin' bullets.    I wanted those soooo bad. But I'd just gotten laid off. Told myself that being a good person and taking care of family and bills came first.   So I walked away.       DUMBASS!!!!     Tanker, if you can do it, and it means as much as it seems to you...go for it and don't look back.
  16. Good one. I think I had little Johnny as a sales manager some years back. Sounds like his style.
  17.   Man, don't insult the WWF by comparing them with these shows. At least the "wrestlers" have a little acting ability.
  18.   So exactly what did he get for an eye? Hmmm?
  19.       Yes, I've got the Pierce extensions on a couple of mags and they are quite comfortable to me.   And the video guys' comment about the sleeve for the 8 round mags is right on target. The idea was good, but Smith certainly made a poor one in my opinion. Way too loose. They move around too much. I found the first time I made a mag change with one on it, that it was a problem. If it shifts at all, you can't easily insert and lock the mag.   That is simply not acceptable for me. Until something better comes along, I don't use the sleeve.
  20.   After seeing it was formatted like the Newsmax ads, I didn't get too concerned that I missed it.
  21. Well...thankfully I couldn't watch it.
  22.   If it continues like the first episode, it may be closer to the first season in action and its wry humor. It felt a little more like the orginal Raylan last night.   Since you didn't see it, the little redhead Wendy, is the gal who played Cybil's daughter on the show Cybil a few years back. The smart-mouthed little teenager. But she has grown up to be a smart-mouthed Crowe now.
  23. I keep hearing from guys here locally that bricks, bulk paks, and individual boxes are hitting the shelves. I haven't seen any of this.   But, I'm not living at WW every morning to find out. I have a little, would like to have more, but have a life to live outside of Walmart.

    CZ reliability?

   for the 2075 RAMI.
  25. Like the Michael Rappaport character. This should be an interesting little battle with Boyd. And Boyd seems to be losing his homey manner and going for the jugular these days. Should liven the show quite a bit. And Wendy Crowe. Quite a little hotty. Hope to see more of her.
