I guess we are lucky with our current little furry child. We have a Border Collie/Aussie Shepherd mix. This little bundle of energy will eat nothing but Blue/Wilderness Salmon. Won't eat any other dry or wet foods. Won't eat the usual treats; only Greenies or DentaSticks. And loves vegetables(canned corn, potatoes, and green beans. We wash it to remove the added salt, then give her about a half cup with dry food once a day).   And our vet approved this diet. Molly is a very active 36 lb of muscle. Drove my wife crazy seeing the little dogs ribs all the time. It's taken 4 years to get her from 24 to 36lbs. Dr. Grace says Molly is disgustingly healthy, can't get any income from us.   Anyway, sorry to get offtrack. Glad to see some indications of improvement. Pray for Ernie that it continues.

  I'd be interested, at least to the point of looking very closely at it.   If small enough, as in the LCP range, and shoots like the LCP, and priced low enough, I could get interested enough to give it serious consideration.   It's not a conventional "manstopper,"  but the 380 does have a valid place in the carry world.

Listen to dlm...that's some great advice.   I buy a few boxes when I can. I don't run out to WW every day. If I need to go there...I'll look. If I find something...I'll buy. But for my use only. My personal stockpile will hopefully continue to grow, but not going to go crazy over it again.   I plan on getting into reloading this year with my brother-in-law. I don't plan on being caught short again.   Notice I said "plan."  Sometimes things do happen, but I'm working towards a goal anyway.

That's great to hear that Ernie is better. Glad all is going well for him and you and SourKraut. I lost my Husky, Shadow just before Chistmas several years ago and know the pain of losing a friend like that. I'm so very thankful that this wasn't the case. Great grandfather-in-law you have! That's an awesome gun and should be treated as a family treasure. But don't be afraid to shoot it.   I had an orginal Colt ACE, the 22 cal model and it absolutely was a blast. But also a fain in the patootie. Almost had to be dripping oil to run more than a mag thru it. And Tight, very tight lockup on it. In the hands of a good pistolero, and that wasn't me, it would shoot one hole groups at 25 to 50 yards.    The National Match should be capable of that as well, I'd think.   But in any case, enjoy it.   Merry Christmas.

I personally miss the family get-togethers that we had every year at the grandparents homes. All the family would gather there and enjoy the granny-home-cooked meal, pass around presents to the little ones, then give my grandparents their gifts.   Alas, those days, like my grandparents and parents are gone. But the memories are still with me, and always will be.   Merry Christmas to all.

I got a couple from my bank right after they were put into circulation. I personally prefer the previous style, but as few as I can hold on to ...I guess it really doesn't make a difference.
