  1.   Same here, but I'll need to find some new products. I'm about at my limit on P-mags.
  2. Makes about as much sense as anything else about the PC world.
  3. Ditto to all comments. That's a sweet find.

Do we have an inkling that perhaps the gentleman might have made this statement similar to "I won't ever sell this" before?   That's about like me saying I'm not buying anything else. Which I believe I just recently said to Steelharp, btw.   "Curse you Red Baron"     Post Script....the comments on the Canik were for an interesting looking gun.   Those for the R-51 are in deadly ernest. I Want One!!
  5.   Agreed. I have some Craftsman tools bought around 2004, when we moved. These have been pretty sturdy. I have a ratchet set I bought 2 years ago. The ratchet is stripped out and 2 sockets broke trying to loosen bolts on a tool chest. Ironic, isn't it?      Started looking at tool storage boxes in 2004. Since I was working selling auto parts then, I looked at the major tool supply trucks. Really good boxes. Tremendously high, at least for my use.   Looked at Sears and was disgusted with price and quality of the boxes, even then.   Bought a big rolling chest at Sam's Club instead. Roller -bearing drawers that actually worked. And 10 drawer of various size.   99 I believe it was, but talked to the store manager and asked for a discount. Couldn't hurt, I thought. Didn't get one, but he offered me a damaged return box that was still packaged up for 300. I was told the side and rear were dented, but it had a full warranty and I could return it if I wasn't satisified.   When I got it home and checked it out, I found 2 dents the size of a half dollar on it. I' still very happy with it.

  7. HMMMMM.
  8. What's the price on the Canik?
  9. Must be some Peppe LePew fans around here...these are some stinky lines.
  10. All things considered....I like my AK more.
  11.   Lotta truth in that line.
  12. Sadist!!     Happy New Year. Dennis.
  13. Totally against my will and wishes, but I do have to agree with you.
  14. I totally understand you my friend. I think we are on the same ship.
  15. Should you ever want to give the G32 away, I'll give it a home. I traded my off and have regretted it ever since. Still have an XD 4" to shoot my ammo stash from though, so it's not a total loss.

    Glock 42

Not going to defend or chastise a pistol we haven't seen yet. But will go along with tercel89 on his statements about Glock and the M&P lines.   I do believe the older Glocks are better. Not an speck of hard evidence to prove it, just my feeling from shooting my own gen 2/3 guns and listening to the commentaries on the gen 4 model with their problems.   As far as the M&P line, I'm very impressed. I've shot quite a few of them, own several, and just have to say that for me...it's  a real close choice between them.   Yes, the 19 is still my fav in the Glock line, but the M&P9c is real hard to beat for comfort and easy shooting. And the trigger is darn close on them. The Smith full size 9 is hands down my choice over the G17. Just a much better fit for me.   And recall issues aside, I really, really like the Shield in 9mm. Yes, the size is almost too comparable to the G19, and mag capacity loses out, but for a cc gun with quick access; it's my go-to gun. Not necessarily what I'd pick as first choice for one of my stashed home guns, but we all have our own reasons for that choice.
  19.   To this I'll add the Children's Leukemia Fund.   Lots of good ones out there, but (I) you have to be really selective because of the number of requests that come in. I'm sure there are many more worthy ones than this; but these are where my donations go.
  20. Wow. Wish I'd seen this thread yesterday. That really was a "too good to pass up" kinda deal.
  21. Stole gunsane's id and ip address and is sending those pics to TGO David.
  22. Thanks, billyscott. I never get enough of Warren. My wife sometimes refuses to get in the car til I take one of his cds out. One of my better musical memories in life has to be seein Warren Zevon live at the Ace of Clubs one night. Probably in the early 80's. Great night> I stood in line outside the club for 2 hours to get in. Stood at the bar the whole night. Waiting for his show, then thru the show. I was totally wiped out from it. But the show was worth it. I guess I was 20 feet from him all thru the show. Sound like a fanboy? Yeah, I guess I am.
  23.   Hmmm...maybe he was listening to Zevon?
  24. Thank you, thank you, folks. I'm here every night from 6 to 9. Reasonable rates for comments. Higher rates for good comments. Arm and a leg for humorous lines.   Cash via Paypal will get me to leave.
