  1. Personally, I'll stick to the factory glock mags.   I have several KCI that I've acquired in trades and actually bought one or two when dirt cheap, but for anything other than range use, I will not use them.    For carry purposes, I'll not trust my life to a replacement mag that cost me 10-15 less than a proven factory product.

    Season 4

What's that old line..."Damning with faint praise" I usually catch it with OnDemand as my wife is a Good Wife junkie(and lately I guess I have been too).   If it weren't for Sleepy Hollow, I'd say this fall tv season is a complete bust...wait, I forgot Blacklist. It's pretty good, but I noted a weakening in the last 2 episodes.
  3.   I've bought several times from CDNN and been very satisfied each time. Phone services is great. Even returned a few items with nary a hiccup.   Have purchased twice from KGC...one good experience, one mediocre. (Still settling an issue)   But I personally prefer CDNN.
  4.   Pretty well said. And I for one, agree with you.
  5.   We can only hope that it is so.
  6. Great gun. Greater gift. Pretty good brother.   Congrats..Chief.
  7.   Darn good idea.   Now if I didn't hate getting up and going to Wally World....
  8.   Best explanation for state map boundaries I've ever heard.
  9.   What's Duke and his baked beans got to do with it?
  10.   Actually... the shogun is the more tempting to me.
  11.   Good to know. I've not seen any of the Turkish imports yet, but they do look interesting.   As an old fart here, I've come to the conclusion that I'm going to slow down on buying guns. So I think I'll let someone else(you, and thanks) find out about them. Of course, I've said silly things like this before and nothing has come of it.
  12. Yes, it is tempting. I looked at it for quite a while last night and finally decide to pass on it. Reasons? Not anything in particular, but have been thinking about getting another RIA or Metro Arms. I know the quality and capabilities on them.   Whereas, the Tisas are not kown to me. All I've seen are the promos from Buds and according to them; every gun they have is absolutely freaking great.
  13. Reset all ours last night and tried to stay up a little later to compensate. Didn't work. Wife's still cranky and fussing about the time change.
  14.   I've wondered about this at times. Just how far would an "anti" go? Not say it has, or will happen; but it is something to think about in a climate like we have now.    Anti-gunners have shown that facts and truth mean nothing to them if the results are for their side...so maybe it is conceivable.
  15.   I know I'm not in the mainstream on buying ammo, cause I've never had any ELY. CCI has been pretty much my brand of choice. But then, I've not been able to find the Ely either, or I'd sure give it a try.
  16.   Dennis, my take is if you are buying for yourself; you are not making a mistake.   I'm trying to add to my stash. I'd prefer to buy case lots, but with online pricing still high from most vendors; if I find something I shoot at a reasonable price, I'll buy it. Not at the point of taking everything on the shelves, but whatever the purchase limit is. And that's usually 3 boxes total when I find anything. Which isn't too often.   About the only rounds I've found at my local Wally store seem to be WWB and a few Federal 45 lately. In the last month, I've managed to buy about 500 rounds of 45, leaving the 40 for someone else. Maybe I should start buying it as well and try to trade on it.
  17. Heck, I didn't even know there was a show today.
  18. Obviously a person who has looked at too many freaking pistols lately.
  19. Perhaps a little memory lapse there. It happens when you get older.
  20. I've been seeing some, but not much,40/45 and a few Tula 9mm lately. Lots of 12/20 for shotty, but still not finding 22. Really don't NEED the 22, I have maybe 1500 rounds; but sure would like to get a couple bricks of CCI put back.
  21.   DING! DING! DING!  And we have a winner!!   All joking aside, that is my reasoning for choosing the Fiocchi.
  22. Yeah, you gotta buy it before you can actually see what 's in it.   Wait...haven't I heard something like that before??
  23.   Good point.   Still...can't hurt to have a couple more.
  24. I won't be of much help to you; I use the Fiocchi as well. I've found it to be very reliable. It feeds well and although the LCP isn't a target gun by any stretch, it seems to be pretty accurate. For me, I can keep about a 6 inch group at 20/25 feet with reasonable speed.

    Season 4

I thought it was a pretty weak episode. Yeah, did clear up a few things .But  just didn't have a lot going for it. Herschel reaming Rick and then his older daughter was about the highlight for me. Then Carol telling Rick she was the one who killed and burned the 2 infected' but I sorta suspected that with all the comments about her caring for the children and teaching them how to defend themselves with knives.
