  LOL!! I have to agree with you on the hat.

Back in my young whippersnapper days, my Dad allowed me to burn trash in an old 55 gal drum in the back yard. More of a chore actually, but I enjoyed the trust. But being a young male...I was always looking for praise and decided to clean up the table in the garage where he did his reloading. So I got a brush and swept up the floor around the table, then wiped all the residue off the top. Including all the little round thingies loose there. Took them over to the can and threw them in on top of a bunch of paper. Procceded to lite it off...there was a little sizzle, a whoosh, and then a big blam blam. It seems that powder and primers are not a good thing to put in a trash fire. Who knew.

Beautiful rifles. Treat them well and enjoy them.

You provided a loving home to a beloved companion and in return received the most unconditional and sincere love on this earth short of that of our Lord Jesus. Know that you will be reunited. Interesting episode. First thoughts.   The big black guy going soft not wanting to pull fence duty. Then later confiding that he didn't like it "out there either."   The bleeding eye zombie rang bells immediately for me. Just too much of a change. Then the pig with breathing issues in the pen. It just seemed to set off my spidey senses. Something is afoot here.   The woman in the woods...well, I was going in a different direction with her. When she didn't respond to Rick giving her his food; I thought he's being led to a cannibalistic group. And I still don't rule that out. And why was the husband(?) in the burlap bag left alone?   No coup de" grace from Rick? I think reed1285 is on track here. Maybe we'll see them again.   Lots more, but that just starts the season. We will see.

My family battle was not nearly that long, Will. But I do understand the meaning of your statement. The almost 4 years brought out  love that sometimes doesn't get expressed in the same ways without that terrible cloud hanging around.   It brought my wife, my mother, and myself closer than I would have thought possible. In some ways, it was almost a healing experience.   I don't and wouldn't wish it on anyone, but I did come out of it a better person.

As much as I really hate to say this, I believe TankerHC's comment to be correct.   Many people are voicing dissatisfaction and opinions on the government and the shutdown, but a lot of these comments are made in the heat of the moment and will surely be forgotten when the vote is actually made. Far too many of the voiced opinions are coming from those who have entitlement programs that are in jeopardy of missing a payment.   And the rest from those with short memories.

I knew I liked James Woods. Now I have even more reason to.

  I agree with you. "O" has done more to harm this country than many yet realize. If we survives as a nation after his tenure, there will be a ton of things to have to correct just in this country. The political bridges he is burning worldwide may never recover.

  I don't have to ask, UncleJak.   The spider population around our house is unbelievably bad this year. I fought with one on the front porch for 4 days. I'd walk out, get a face full of web, jump back and wipe it off. Then get a broom and wipe the webbing down.   Next morning...the same thing. Finally got the little web-spinner on the last day. Almost hated to squash it, the webs were really nice looking; but didn't need to get that in the face every day. .

The People are the government. It's a great shame that most of them have forgotten that and are willing to have themselves led to doomsday by the very government they elect. It's wonderful to see some stand up and take a rightful approach to this park shutdown nonsense.
