  1. Excellent.   Very well stated arguements for the case against Firearms Control and the violations of the Constitution and the 2nd Ammendment.
  2. Good pricing. there must be some major differences between the store locations though. The last I found in Hermitage just after Newtown was almost 40 per  box.
  3. That sure looks good. I'm liking it more and more.
  4.   OK, a bit salty. But that's the real ending for the road runner.   Yeah, I'm a killjoy on the fast, feathered, irritating lil' beaked wonder.
  5. Yeah, yeah. It's good, it's funny. But honestly, didn't you really root for the coyote? I really hated that bird.
  6. These have got to be made up by a crew of lamebrained, liberal, sissified men who have never had a chance with a woman, let alone know what one is.   Or...and pardon me for saying this; some harelipped, braindead, Pelosi-looking crone wishing some geeky guy had actually asked her to the prom.   Even for advice from a demented liberal, these are some of the stupidest ideas ever heard.   No father, mother, or woman with any sense of self-worth or self-preservation could possibly(in my opinion) condone such advice.
  7.   The very sad part is that the rest of us are going to have to suffer for their ignorance and gullibility.
  8.   Caster, I like your analogy. Not to sure what that says about us...but I lkie it.
  9. Sadly, I totally agree. My wife and I have talked about this very issue. Considering my past health issues, she is determined to work as long as possible to maintain her coverage for us.   Her thoughts are that the medical fields will be one that will hold out the longest. I'm not sure I agree with that though.

    Mag question

Opinions do vary on the subject, but I think most of the gun community will tend to agree with Lumber_Jack.  Maybe in the past, there could have been issues with long-time loaded mags, but with current metals and technology in construction, there shouldn't be any problems keeping them loaded til use.
  11.   Some people just can't be allowed in public. I sincerely wish I could have been there to give this person a talking to. I've been bald 3 times from chemo and understand that some people just can't seem to keep their mouths shut and must make stupid comments to make themselves feel better when conforted with something out of the norm. Unlike your friend though, my surgical scars are on my stomach and chest, and were almost always covered during treatment. I guess the worst comments I got were from insentive family and friends. Almost have to forgive and overlook them, but for a person out in a public area to comment like that is just not to be understood.
  12. It's already been said in several ways, but I thought this was one of the best responses to this current insanity that I've seen and read.   A hearty round of congratulations to the Saratoga Sheriff's Association!
  13. Thanks for the information. I'll try to get by and snatch a pack or three.
  14.   I like, no strike that....I LOVE THESE GUYS!
  15.    Spoken like a longtime married man. By the way, the Major has his priorities right.   Hey Eric, have a particular 45 in mind?
  16.     Watch the blood pressure there, itchy.  You'll end up taking daily Lisinopril like me.
  17.   "LOLA??" That's a bad sign. The wife has already found the name of your mistress? You are in trouble now man.   And Welcome to the world of TGO and firearms.
  18. So will I.   But that's not much of a declaration for me. When I got bitten by the AR bug, I started getting pmags. With the exception of a couple of Colt mags, the pmags are all I have.
  19.   I'd say that lately in Nashville...you don't know what you've grabbed til you unwrap it.
  20. Very interesting read. Must say I enjoyed it. Hope he lets us know how the next flight and security check goes.
  21. Looks snakey to me.
  22.   Yes. I guess I can be pretty prudish at times. I have been mildly to major-leage po'd at some of their material. Guess I just happened to see only the issues i disliked.
  23. Thanks for the tip. I'll check it out.
  24.  Second that opinion. Grew up 8 miles out of Cookeville. Moved to Nasville in 75. Nice people there. Some decent jobs, I hearfrom people still living there. Population has more than doubled sine I was there, mostly from northern and eastern "refugees" moving in. A good college town. TTU was one of the premiere engineering schools for quite some time, but I don't know how it ranks now.   You say your background is in retail management? From a lay standpoint, it probably won't be a good area for you to find the kind of job I think you're wanting. There's not a lot of retail jobs in the area. Especially upper management.   Cookeville is basically a suitcase college town that has grown over the years. Size and population is about the only major change I see from the days I lived in the area.   Don't get me wrong, it's a very nice place. Under other family circumstances, I wouldn't mind living there again. But honestly, it's no hotbed of high income jobs.
