  1. Met one named Smirnofff a few weeks ago. He decided to go to the hunting cabin with me. I think he's still there in the freezer.
  2. May want to get on Karri's mailing list. Good prices and they have occasional sales for even better prices http://karrisguns.com/pistoluppers-2.aspx Currently sold out but the price is why....279 http://karrisguns.com/kg-venom-KM-5-56mm-7-5-pistol-upper-SR.aspx
  3. Some links below to help on mid range cams and a box to protect it. If you really want to catch them, the new cellular phone linked cameras will do it. You might loose the camera before you get there but it should be sending you pics before they get it. http://www.ebay.com/itm/1946-Qty-2-Used-Wildgame-Innovations-i8B-Trail-Game-Camera-WGI-8MP-Infrared-/381977484911?hash=item58efa1de6f:g:JwQAAOSwh2xYAQk8 http://www.ebay.com/itm/331911995321?_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
  4. Catch an auction based sale on Ebay. You can get the 5 MP cams for under a 100 easy now. The problem is they have to be within about 40-50 feet to catch the movment which means they are usually visible. I had a camera watching our hunting cabin this summer and the county contractor crew clearing the power line right of ways apparently spent some time resting in the shade of our porch. They apparently noticed the camera and took my SD card so there went the evidence, and then they scratched up the lens so bad the camera was essentially unusable. I have recently purchased a steel locking box for the cam and a python cable so they can't take the whole thing and will try setting up again. It's a shame people can't respect what others have earned or worked on, even to the point where trying to catch them is hard to do. Also, you need to understand that unless you get a NO GLOW IR cam, they will see the thing light up with the red IR emitters at night. If you do put one up, check it often. Your presence may just provide the evidence you need.
  5. Helotex G2 for pocket carry Streamlight and Fenix for the big lights
  6. Go simple first, just try a polishing compound on a q-tip and run it around the chamber, especially the bottom if that's where you are sure it's hanging. If that doesn't help, get a powered dremel and go a little harder at it. And definitely try another brand of ammo if you haven't already.
  7. So during extraction, the empty brass is staying in the lugs of the bolt and not ejecting right. If so, pull the extractor spring, make sure its still springy (they sometimes get smashed during installation) and not upside down. If that doesn't need replacing, you'll have to get the tool to remove and check the ejector pin and spring. If you meant it's locking up in the chamber, then it's time to fluff and buff the chamber with a polishing compound. Get another brand of ammo and see if it does the same thing as well.
  8. The minimum wage is a half assed solution as it stands Again, you clearly are using emotion instead of facts and logic in your thinking. Minimum wage was never a basis for a living but then we never had a society that didn't want to work like they don't now. When you can't hire someone because you pay to much and they don't want to lose their Obama care and EBT then the safety net is to broad. If you get only a GED or high school diploma, have a minimal attendance rating and don't care but seeing how much you can NOT do in 12 hours (yes our shifts are 12 hours, built in OT, shocking)....then you deserve to earn 10 bucks an hour and better learn to live on it. Yet these same folks have smart phones and drive adequate cars. Something ain't right but its not the minimum wage. You keep doing your M-F. You'll either figure it out or you won't.
  9. Your right, each company is different but there is a minimum wage already and it's setting the bar. I fail to see why each company should have a variable standard as to what is to much. You should be able to easily come up with a number that is the magic level. The one that has the employee happy, the company happy, there just has to be a fix! When you come up with it let me know. Your not even close to real world but since you've graduated.....IF you move up in a business, you will start to see. You want to end a business, have the govt regulate it more.
  10. The EBT thing has been mentioned to me several times when we are needing extra folks. I can't ask if they are on them or not. Seems funny that everyone demanding more money that has access to more work to get it but then deny it are just not willing to do what is needed. No, my company is an international corporation providing 3rd party logistics support to anyone that needs it. My particular location is a warehouse storing items before they go to production. I have fork lift operators. Is it skilled, no, but you have to have some skills. NO ILLEGALs ever, not even considered. Heck one of the issue I have is the background check winnows out to many and takes to long. On the college thing, agreed, if you want an education now, you can get help. I don't agree that it's needed. I could do everything I've done in life without the degree be it the military or logisitics. Agreed on the dollar amount.!1 We can bring back manufacturing but until folks stop looking up with envy at those that make more they are always going to want more.
  11. Yeah, I think I took a few years off my life with that period of time and the schedule but it needed to be done. Needed more money, wanted some more guns too. Went to work.
  12. So no number stated for what's to much for a company or individual to make. Want's govt to step in and determine wages rather than market and individuals determining their "value" You are correct that companies don't pay for jobs that are not needed. Their sole purpose is to MAKE MONEY, all other value is determined by those that want their product or services. I think you just need to come out and admit you want a socialist style society which has proven over and over won't work.
  13. I'll ask it again....when one of you sets the bar that we can all debate then we can talk. Whats the freaking bar. What's the limit of to much? Those workers don't put any skin in the game but showing up. They don't invest in it, put risk capitol out there but always got the hand out there demanding more. I'm sorry, and although I am "the man" management, I don't make a hell of a lot more than what they can with OT. Where is making a profit obscene and no longer "fair"? If it were the sweat of your brow on a company you ran or managed, I bet your idealism would change a bunch. I wish I could charge every employee at my place that damages product, equipment or heck hits a freaking girder beam with their forklift. Even if it were 5% they would feel the pinch of the budget finally on them, but no, they just show up when they want, will refuse overtime because it will push them out of EBT range. I take care of my employees even though they could care less about how my reviews are judged by their actions. And BTQ, it will never be capitalist if govt is involved in the process. I'm getting tired of being told we don't make enough. If I actually paid some of these folks what they did in actual value some days, they would be writing the company a check instead of the other way around. There it's out in the open. Discuss
  14. And it must kill you that liberals are exploiting the work force and making a killing using capitalist processes. Amazon runs through associates like poop through a goose. Its fun to watch your views and then your life methodology. Big corps are keeping the man down....but I buy from them all the time. I've bought from them twice, on the wife's account and only because she was already ordering something so we saved on the shipping. I love Ebay and the Pay Pal credit system. Never paid them a lick of interest. I also note a trend that super libs become vocal AFTER they make it really big. When they were fighting to get their little start ups going, I bet it was all process, value stream, costs costs costs (labor is cost!).....then they could say what they want after using the methods they now state they despise. Carry on.
  15. With ya brother! Sending em up now!
  16. Got my letter and current tags expire soon! Great timing! I was wondering what FW stood for as well! Thanks for clearing that up. I thought it might be free willy or something LOL
  17. Make one of each. I see no real difference in my 10.5 to the 7.5. Just get a muzzle device to direct it all down range. I'm using the SAA dragons on mine.
  18. Maybe, possibly, 2 Palmetto State blem stripped lowers. They dropped them to 49.99 again.
  19. Today's Goo Goo don't hang a shine on the ones pre 90's when the marshmellow was REAL. You could buy the mistakes cheap because the marshmellow and carmel done leaked out. The new ones are to stiff and hard.
  20. Mike, you don't qualify as you don't have an age as far as we can tell. And we don't let you out of the state on general principle.
  21. Thought I was pretty clear with my reference to the mountains to the Mississippi that what I am is an advocate of STATES rights. Do I travel much anymore, no. But if you want to see the Grand Canyon or the Empire State building, you must be prepared for what those states have decreed. Would I like a national carry, sure, but not at the cost of each states rights. That means if I or you wants to travel, take into account what the current rules are. I have no issue with TN granting carry privileges to ALL active duty military. Will that make them all mature enough to handle the responsibility, no, but then I have noted some folks on this site that are obviously in their 40's or 50's that haven't shown the maturity of what some of those 18 year olds do. If your on active duty, you have stated your willing to give your life for the country. The least they can do is show that at least in TN, we honor that enough to grant you the title of being an adult. Compound? Come on Chance, don't be an MSNBC word twister man.
  22. Actually yes, yes I do recommend they get different jobs if they wish to travel and/or must have a firearm. If not then you follow the rules wherever your traveling to and through) If your son lived in New York, Chicago, DC would you still care so much or would you just suck it up and go without a firearm? I see no difference. If Tennessee ever changes over to a no gun state, yep I'll change jobs and move.
  23. Why? I traveled some early in life, been to Korea and Central America with the military. I no longer have a need to "GO" see something outside my state. We have mountains (when they're not on fire) and the big river and nice areas to shoot here. Heck I don't even like dealing with traffic and security going to Nashville. No, you can go, I no longer have the desire. All my needs can be met right here in Tennessee and I'm happy at home or my cabin.
