Could there be a connection with that energy drink NOS getting in their heads?   I know on the opposite side of this spectrum, on one of the rice rocket sites I glanced through back when I was still riding, that a guy got lots of guffaws when he locked up his GXR1000 motor after putting the NOS energy drink in his tank.  Works both ways when your cognitives are set on slow......

Another trick is put your 1 pounders in the freezer for 15 or 20 minutes and get them really cold so there is higher pressure in the 20 flowing to the 1 pound bottle

Another +1 for the Buddy systems.  I use both the 1 pound bottles (I refill also) as well as a tree on the 20 pounders so I can run the propane lamp on top and the heater off the bottom of the tree.   It will heat up the 12x12 bedroom of the hunting cabin in minutes to bearable and run for several nights off the 20 pounder.  I keep it and all the lighting and cooking gear in one plastic tool box to just throw in the bed of the truck and off ya go.   Get ya one folks.

Lutts is 20 miles south of Moccasin which is where we are at.  We're just south of Perry County though where those folks are missing.    And the old joke in our family is it's always raining in Wayne Co.  It just seems to be the path for all weather coming to TN.  Literally, you can look at radar in the summer and there not be a single cloud in TN except for the one spot T-storm in Wayne Co.     I blame it on Lumber Jack, all the clear cutting they've done down there.

Guess I need to head to Wayne Co and see if our cabin is still there on the creek.

Sunday Evening. No sign of rut in the Wayne Co area but he still messed up. 110 yard shot.

My son took his first buck with a .223 Rossi Single shot using 55 gr soft points.  Works just fine.  Shot placement as always.    Personally, I used a .458 Socom on the AR platform for deer. 

He will handle all you can't.  Knees down, prayers up.
