  1. I have used silencershop twice and their process makes it very simple. You can take the pictures yourself with your phone and use their kiosk to do the fingerprints. Once they have you in their system you can buy em online like anything else and once the man approves them you get to go pick them up.
  2. depends on what you are looking for. If you want a real safe with fire protection and substantial theft protection this is not going to be something "modular" that you can easily move, these are usually ~1000lbs empty. If you are looking for more of a locking cabinet that will keep honest people out of your stuff or protection from kids you have more options. I have used Fast Box and Vaultek long gun safes for quick access and there are a plethora of lighter duty "safes" out there that would fit the bill from any of the major retailers under 500lbs.
  3. They make some folding hinges that you could mount across a couple studs and get some collapsible legs and you could build yourself a pretty solid bench that you could fold out of the way when not in use. I used some to build a miter saw stand a few years ago and it has held up pretty well. Could use 3/4" plywood as the top and build some shoes with bolts to mount your press to the top if you were still worried about it.

    First

my first was a remington 597 that I bought at a pawn shop when I was in college in 2004, been a slippery slope since then!
  5. If Scotty hits the lottery and wants to pay full price his mags instead I will take backup.
  6. for leather I have been really happy with the below crossbreed belt. https://www.crossbreedholsters.com/product/crossover-gun-belt-beltaclo/ For weekend/non-dressy occasions I am huge fan of the blue alpha EDC line https://www.bluealphabelts.com/product/low-profile-edc-belt/
  7. I don't think the X300 will fit on a 365. I would go with the TLR7 Sub on the 365 and just keep it on there all the time.

    Weapon Light

While I for the most part have faith in holosun products, I don't see a huge advantage on being a "newish" adopter of the PID when the Streamlight TLR-1 HL offers very similar performance at a comparable cost. This is even more relevant on a firearm you are looking to use for defense. That being said the reviews I have seen on the PID looked good.
  9. rumor has it the portion of YRC market share could be picked up by excess capacity in the LTL/TL market.
  10. I knew lure collecting was a thing but obviously way over my head. Learn something new every day. If 9 of these things can be had for $4500 I can't imagine what 277 of them would be worth! Cool collection and not something you see every day for sure.
  11. can I test shave the marbles before making a final offer? Lovely piece here

    Weapon Light

Have Streamlight TLR-1HL on my "house guns" G19 and G17 and streamlight TLR7-SUB on my carry P365. As far as concealability items on the slide end of the gun don't seem to cause printing issues as they are under the waist band, the printing seems to come from the grip. For this reason all of my carry guns have lights and all of my duty/house guns have lights as well. Simple math is you are in the dark ~50% of the time, I would rather be able to have the ability to identify what I am shooting at with certainty. Streamlight is a proven brand with plenty of real world experience that I trust for a pistol light without shelling out $250+ for a surefire. For the $100-150 I think it is worth the expense, also keep in mind that holster choices will be limited with a light and even more limited if you pick a less common light (Olight, Crimson Trace, Inforce, etc.) What type of pistol are you looking to put a light on?

    My first 5.7

affordable is all relative when it comes to ammo... I do think one of these with a can and a red dot would be a fun shooter!
  14. GAFS is the quick road to bankruptcy! However it is a great place to find used gear and I feel generally pretty safe dealing with high flair users for transactions. I would be very hesitant to spend hundreds of dollars on a new user without going through paypal G&S, however had no issue spending money on a high value item going through one of the mods as a proxy. If you wait for a decent deal you could pretty easily get your money back if you don't like whatever you end up with.
  15. This is a great price on a great case. If I didn't order the same case nearly 2 weeks ago I would scoop this up for sure.
  16. I am also a right hand/left eye shooter, I find that a pistol mounted red dot is easier for me to utilize vs iron sights for some reason. I also would think you will have a hard time find holsters for the rail master or the TLR8 if this is going on a carry gun
  17. i'd go with a G20 in a kenai or hill people gear chest rig.
  18. another vote for the p365
  19. Nice, snagged a spot have heard decent things about the fieldcraft training.
  20. I think it was Lucas from T-Rex arms that said there really is no justification for people to use an Olight as long as Streamlight exists. I have a few of their rifle lights and a couple handheld lights (HL, HL-X) and they have all been great, not the same durability/output as my CD stuff but I trust them more than Olight.
  21. I'm going with David on this one. I had been carrying the streamlight microstream USB 24/7 for years and just dealt with the fact that they clip sucked and I would lose a few each year, also that the mode would be a crapshoot when I hit the tailcap. I have been carrying the cloud chicro since they released them a few few months ago, much better clip and better mode interface. Also utilize cloud on all my rifles and they take a beating right next to the flash hider and keep on trucking.
