  1. Anyone who is curious Shane is a stand up guy, taken a bunch of courses with him and have always been impressed. Looking forward to trying to get onto the May calendar if I can get a weekend open
  2. Doesn't hold a candle to the pioneer woman knife.
  3. I use the triune saddle shop off Hwy 96. I think it's $25 and will do multiple on the same form so a good way if you're doing a bunch of lowers or something.
  4. I am holding out for a moonshine edition but really looking forward to testing one of these out. Cloud is an outstanding company and I have been very impressed with their rifle lights so no reason to think the MCH won't be an all star.
  5. That's a good way for the shop to lose some future sales. I think back to post sandy hook craze and the numerous gun shops that popped up to gouge the panic buyers, almost none of them are still around.
  6. Don't reload so can't comment, but Norma has been killing it on pricing lately so I would expect you will start seeing more and more of this brass around.
  7. trying to decide if this is worth changing out my grayguns laser sculpted module for. Seems like a bit higher beavertail and trigger undercut from the factory frames?
  8. classicfirearms.com seems to have some in stock.
  9. figured there was something new in the works as they were blowing out the current models .
  10. I’ve used the shop over at royal range a few times and have been impressed.
  11. I used to have a BB gun that looked exactly like this when I was about 10, a lot of bruises on the neighbor's cat because of it. Cool pistol for sure.
  12. looks like a little biodome would be a fun spring project for the kiddos. What's another activity to take away free time at this point?
  13. I have two small 6'x10' raised beds and have always just used big box plants for my annual "crop" any benefit of using mail order seeds other than cost?
  14. I remember cutting the paper rolls and trying to tape them onto the wheels, no dice.
  15. The burger king/ruger one was great. Same burger as McDonalds (S&W) but with a twist like an onion ring or a threaded barrel and magpul stock.
  16. nice price on a solid saw. Wish you were closer to Nashville.
  17. missed it again! Anymore of these going to be available before christmas?
  18. If you can travel up to an hour I would look into either the Charlie Hafner memorial range or strategic edge range. Both are membership only ranges. There isn't BLM land out here that is open for any use like other states so finding space is a bit tricky. I would have to read up on the TVA "unimproved" land but that may be an option but definitely not common practice.
  19. also carry this same setup, and it's a great combo and a great price with the optic and mags.
  20. most places I have seen offer coating service for the cut areas or complete slide. For the cost I would rather just pony up the money and get it coated and not have to worry about it rusting.
  21. I know Royal Range does slide milling, don't know anyone who has had it done there but they do it. Personally I would go with the RMR/Holosun footprint, seems to offer the most options.
  22. If you are building one just to have a "big bore AR" why not go with the biggest and get a .50 Beo?
