  1. Picked up several guns in an estate sale. There was a couple of oddballs in the bunch. Not really oddballs but guns you do not see very often. This is an early 50's Great Western Frontier single action in .357 Atomic. The .357 Atomic is basically a .357 mag +p. It uses the same case but is loaded a little hotter. For a brief time it was touted as the most powerful handgun cartridge. The .44 mag was created before atomic ammo went into production. In mid 1954 Great Western changed the roll mark to .357 magnum and that was the end of the .357 Atomic. 2. Nice.  Red eyes are a blast to catch on ultra light rigs.
  3. Hey, if anybody runs across a 21yo bottle of Chivas let me know.  I have been looking for one for my dad but can't seem to find one.
  4. You are correct. Nice catch. I overlooked that. The edges are a little different. With the overall dimensions being the same, I bet it would work.
  5. The cm40 and the pm40 are the same size.  You should be able to find a pm40 blue gun.   OAL - 5.47" Height - 4" Slide Width - .94"
  6. This is what we need to do, make it worth $19.99 and call it the bill formally known as $20 (stolen from ggwildes post in the other thread)

  9. That beauty is a work of art. You are going to have to bring her to the next SCI get together.

  11. Glock 20 or 29 are good options. While not as thin as a single stack, the Gen 4 frames fit good in my medium size hands. Or you could get one of these... Guncrafters No Name 10mm Melonite
  12. Another reason why TGO is awesome. No matter what your problem, somebody here will be able to help you fix it.
  13. Good thing it wasn't a .45 or he would not have a hand left...
  14. Or just get a lifetime benefactor and then you will not have to worry about it expiring. [emoji3]
  15.     That is awesome.
  16. That's awesome. Congrats!
  17. First off just let me say that Willis really sucks. I had been cured of my knife addiction a long time ago. Then willis started offering all these autos and I relapsed pretty hard. While buying all these autos I kept drooling over some of these custom knives our own members were making. So when Sybo posted that he had a knife he needed to sell I jumped on it. The pics just do not do this knife justice. It is a fantastic looking knife. You can tell some real though went into the handle because it feels right when you hold it. It is really sharp. The back of both of my hands have no hair left. I can't tell you how pleased I am at how this turned out. It is a real work of art. And now for some crappy cell phone pics... 19. Time for a TGO hunting trip...
  20. Love that movie.
  21. A prius will not do 0-60 in under 6 seconds either. (still wouldn't buy one)
  22. Very cool.  Thanks for the heads up.
  23. There are actually two species of scorpions that can be found in Tennessee.  The plain eastern stripeless and the striped scorpion.  The venom of Tn scorpions are no stronger that the sting of a honey bee.
