  1. Thanks for posting the article.    I will just add to what others said. When my neighbor's door was kicked in back in march the door was 100% fine while the frame was ruined.
  2.   According to my local gun store the WASR is "pure garbage"  :shake:   I don't agree though.
  3. I love PSA but they priced it too high IMO. Yes, I know they will sell like crazy but I won't be jumping on this bandwagon. They were getting ripped a new one on Facebook for pricing it so high.   If they eventually drop the price down to $550 or so then I'll gladly pick one up. I've been wanting an AK.
  4. Well folks. I'm reminded that all things happen for a reason. I turned down a job offer in Nashville and ended up getting a transfer/promotion with my current company. We will be moving back to Knoxville the end of July! This is where we really wanted to be. The new job is just 10 minutes from my mom's house.   I feel blessed.
  5. I agree. It's still hard to believe that the great state of Texas has such poor gun laws. Especially when compared to other states in the region. I'm glad things are improving though.
  6. Why would anyone give this massive flop another chance? It doesn't offer anything over the competition and I agree that it's ugly as sin.
  7. This.. I love my dad but the only thing he taught me was how to drive. It's been a challenge trying to learn everything else.
  8. Is that a Mossberg MVP?
  9. Primary Arms and PSA of course.
  10. I like the Hogue's too but they make the LCR difficult to pocket carry. YMMV.
  11.   That's the problem....
  12.   I hope it wasn't Robar. I've been wanting to have mine done by those guys eventually. Their work looks outstanding.
  13.    I struggle with this as well. That country song keeps coming on the radio "we all want what we ain't got." It's spot on.
  14. Who did the slide? I love the stipple work.
  15. I've had nearly 15 handguns so far but never had to send one back. I did have a early Sig p238 that despite my best efforts was never 100% reliable.
  16. This pretty much sums it up. They had chains....who carries chains? It reminds me of that fight scene from Anchor Man where the news teams fought with tridents.
  17.   I understand. I would have done the same. Another reason why it's important too is for anyone who lives in the area or stops at that same gas station. They can know who/what to look out for.   I just wanted to share my thoughts on the crime stats that Bill Whittle so eloquently presents. Talking about the issue doesn't make it racist.
  18.   I thought about your post last night and thought I would chime in. I think skin color actually has a place in the story. It's yet another example of aggression by young black males.   Add this to the list of everything else we've seen lately and I think it's relevant. No one wants to discuss the elephant in the room.   To answer your question, I would have acted the same if it were a group of white trash males but the research by Bill Whittle, using FBI crime statistics, says that when it comes to aggravated assault blacks are 200x more likely to assault whites than the other way around. 200 times!   We've seen flash mobs where hundreds of young blacks are destroying malls and attacking people. The kid at the Kroger in Memphis had the crap stomped out of him. We've seen the so called "knock out game" where the victims are usually white. We've seen numerous retaliation attacks against white folks because of the so called "social injustice". I just saw where a white guy in Baltimore was beaten nearly to death. He is clinging to life right now.   After the Treyvon shooting a man in Sanford was drug out of his truck and beaten to death with a hammer. Why? Justice for Treyvon of course.   I could go on an on.   There is a disproportionate amount of crime by blacks against non-blacks.   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iGTUcS-yQtQ
  19.   If you go hand to hand be careful touching it. They tend to carry leprosy.
  20. WOW. Thanks for letting me know. This is really disappointing.    So add Simply Safe to the list along with Lifeshield of companies to avoid.
  21.   I'm shocked at the description of these fine citizens....  :shake:   Aside from failing to report this to the police I think you did exactly what you should have. Good job keeping a level head.
  22. I've heard good things about Simply Safe. They are also the most affordable.    I have Lifeshield and I've not been overly impressed. I will go with a different company next time.
  23. True. The fact that he was able to wound both while faced with long guns is impressive.
