  1. No experience with the air rifles, but have had 2 of the P99 air pistols, by Umarex. Did not last long. Couple of months, and they started leaking Co2 badly ( useless ). If they are made by Ruger, maybe they'll fare better.
  2. Well, received the PPS today, brought it home, cleaned & lubed, ready to go. All appears to be well. Now I've just got to find a sweet spot in the weather & put a few rds. down range. Later............ ( haven't forgotten about you Joe )
  3. I'll do that. Soon as I get the gun & get a chance to send some rounds down range. We'll see how goes. Thanks.....
  4. Walther PPS M2 ordered today at Lebanon Gun shop. Should be here Thurs / Fri. Been eyeing this for a while ever since they came out. Very similar in looks & feel to my PPQ. It will be in addition to, not in place of the PPQ. Smaller & easier to conceal/carry in some situations. Now all I've got to do is wait......patience is NOT one of my virtues, LOL. 9 MM BTW, in black.
  5. Went to the show early this AM. Building is great, lots of room, well lit, aisle space. Not a bad show for the 1st time, plus I was one of the 1st in the door, so the crowd was still arriving. Better than the old Lebanon show, for sure. Someone who was there later can get a better idea on traffic. Still a few non-gun items, but not as much as usual. Best part, I live approx. 15 mi. North.
  6. I hope so. Hopefully, all the folks that complained about the Nashville venue & wished for something out of town but close by ( self included here ), will show up & support it. The last 2 RK shows, NAsh & 'Boro were dead. 'Nuff said.
  7. 1st. gun show at the new Expo in Lebanon. Anyone going? I'm anxious to see how this will go compared to R K Nashville & 'Boro. Can't possibly be any worse than the old Lebanon shows.
  8. Oh, well, LOL. Thing is I voted for him. Clear choice between him & Hitlery.
  9. No loss for me. Levis' are overpriced & don't hold up as well as Wrangler. Enjoy your newfound freedom, Chip.....as long as it lasts.
  10. Cool gun. It was a force to be reckoned with back in the day.
  11. Wouldn't be surprised. Certainly looks big in the pic.
  12. Congrats, Greg. Nice!! I'm turning green with envy as I type, LOL.
  13. Weather doesn't sound good, think I'm just going to get up, see how it looks & go from there. Time in the woods is better than time at home.
  14. Dream on, LOL No need to start looking for kindling.
  15. Man, I hope so. I've still got my eye on a Walther PPS M2, that I'm still trying to convince my self that I can afford it somehow. No luck thus far, LOL. Being poor is a B - - - h.
  16. Just another stupid Gov. idea to fix something that wasn't broken.
  17. Like everywhere else, use whatever cover is available, and keep you gun hand free. Old gunfighter trick, but still holds true today.
  18. If they were fleeing, the fights' over.
  19. Well, FWIW, John Gotti was the "teflon Don" for quite a while. No charges stuck. His luck finally ran out. Hopefully, hers will do the same. Arrogance will eventually come back & bite your butt.
  20. I knew you were working thru some issues lately, so, no problem here. These things usually have a snag or two. You hung in there & got 'er done. No worries mate. Thanks David, looks good.
  21. Went Sat. AM, total bust. Lot of empty tables, not much of a crowd. Didn't see many guys walking around buy/selling either. TN Foundation Service had a booth, I guess in case your gun room floor had cracks in it, LOL.
  22. Some states allow bear baiting, not so in TN. Everyone involved knows that. Risk & reward, I guess. I don't consider baiting "hunting", myself. Baiting is illegal for deer also, but using a scent attractant is. Don't see a difference. Strange laws this TWRA has at times.................
  23. I made my first visit to the new R. K. Show location @ the 'boro this am. Not very impressed. No where near as large as the old location, what space was there wasn't anywhere near full. Lots of empty tables. Of course, Goodman is in Nashville this weekend also, I believe. That likely took away some of the dealers & crowd. Hope this improves when they move to the Wilson Co. Expo center.
  24. Love squirrel hunting. Been doing it since I was a little kid. Meant to go this AM. but sore shoulder changed my mind. Finding a place to hunt around here is near impossible. Everything is either cut up in 1 acre tracts, or posted by the antis'.
  25. Travel at your own risk.
