  1.  Ask Randy Weaver ( Ruby Ridge ), he can tell you all about the ATF's practices.
  2. A full scholarship is worth several thousand bucks in tuition, etc. Not like they're not getting paid in some form. Flip side, colleges/universities, are making a mint off athletics. I can hear the lid coming off a can of worms.
  3. 'bout time the Feds got the lead out!
  4. March is March. Lived here my entire life, except a brief vacation with the Army. Always been this way.  Bad breath is better than no breath at all. Weather is about the same way.
  5.   To answer the OP question, I live in that area, and it's rural. If you can find a niche that isn't covered in Gallatin / Lebanon,  and advertise heavily, it might work. There is a wealth of HCP classes around. No idea on zoning, but would be the  first place I'd visit.    Do some homework & see what it looks like from there.  Good luck..........
  6.    I don't know Greg, only been in there once, quite a while ago, didn't find much then. No much traffic for sure.  Always thought it was too much out in the middle of space to do much business.
  7.  Good points, all, and true.
  8. The event center is still being debated. Even if this happens, the size of the center does not automatically transform this gun show into a major event. It will take a major promoter to pull this off. Current promoter doesn't seem to have the ability to do so, according to results of their other shows at other venues. Agreed, Lebanon is a great central location that should make for a good show. Like Goodman at Nashville, one small building, $8 adm., just doesn't cut it. The majority of the traffic is private sales, and few dealers ( other than the standard flea market crap ).
  9.   Likely had the same result. Sanctions are a joke.
  10. I have a small indoor heli. Fun to fly, wish I had one of the big boys, just too expensive for me. RC is fun, whatever it is, tho.
  11.  $8 will get me a good meal at Captain D's. I'll pass. Not worth the adm. at 1/2 the price.
  12. Can't say what built the nest in the pic, but Osprey nests are huge. Hard to miss.
  13. Radial tires? On a reel push mower?
  14.  It's a shame the Apaches couldn't have put his lights out. They had a way.........
  15.  Eagles love those towers. There was a nest ( Osprey ) near the river out my way on a cell tower, and another  on a light tower at our football field, near the creek.
  16. Whatever the reason, anything Obama does is suspect to me. If they earned it, great, if not, disgraceful. The only Medal of Honor recipient I know personally, is my squad leader in 'Nam, '67. His was awarded about a year later. He earned it. I was there. Rough day.
  17.    I like this one better.
  18.  Neat setup. Where there's a will, there's a way.
  19. As it says, 25th Infantry Division, aka Tropic Lightning. Light weapons infantry ( grunt ), Vietnam '67.
  20.  LOL, well, you're just doing what I would have done.  It does work to "start" a topic, just at times (often) doesn't work with "reply post".  Mouse may be about due tho, Red.
  21. Now, that I like!!
  22. Sometimes when I try to reply to a topic/post, the POST button will not work. Been going on for a while. Any help?
  23.    Mike, what have you got against roaches?
