  1. Dustbuster, I totally agree on the two missing girls you mentioned. I hope they will be found alive & well. And it's not impossible that they will. Look at the three girls in leveland that had been held captive for years. Another case that bothered me for decades was the Marcia Trimble case. Had no connection to it whatsoever, but weighed on me until the perp was caught 25yrs later. Holly Bobos case bothered me the same way. Had to be someone close to know their way around there. Also thought it strange the brother didn't do more than he did. Case is still under investigation.
  2.    At least one post with some sense. The DA is NOT going to lay out his case for you until it comes time to do so. A body is not required, altho it is good to have for many reasons. Hopefully, fo the family's sake, they will find the body. Neither is a confession. Some of you have been watching too much Law & Order.
  3. L.C. Smith was a very good gun back in the day. Neighbor had one, 20 ga. I believe. He's long since departed. Wish I could have gotten my paws on it.
  4. It's raining & thundering here as well. Just looked at the radar, doesn't look good if it hits here. I've got an appointment @ the VA in the 'boro tomorrow AM. May be interesting.
  5. Now that Obama has advised Russia against it, I'm sure they'll run like scared rabbits.
  6.   LOL, yeah, i still do that. Old habits are hard to break I guess.
  7. The stainless does not wear the brass, contrary to popular opinion. Seems it would , but don't. The vibrating mfgs. would like you to think so, for obvious reasons.
  8. AK, but I have issues from the two holes it left in me.
  9. When I ordered my Model B, the S/H was only $25. Maybe it's gone up in a couple of yrs. The Rock Shed, also sells the Mod. B, but out of stock right now, as is STM. A bit more up front, but don't think you'll ever regret it. My Frankford is still sitting out in the shed unused. I do use the FA bucket & separator that came with it tho.(bought the kit).
  10.    I have both. Frankford tumbler and Thumlers Tumbler ( rotary ).. It depends on how clean/shiny you want your brass. Vibrating will get them reasonably clean out side, rotary tumbler with stainless media will clean inside & out, and primer pockets & flash holes as well (if you deprime first ), like new. I started out with the Frankford, then switched to the Thumler. Haven't used the vibrating tumbler since. As for the length of time, regardless of which you use, it depends on how dirty/stained the brass is. I don't see that much difference, all things being equal. The stainless route costs a bit more up front, but the stainless doesn't wear out. Depends on what you want to achieve.   www.stainlesstumblingmedia.com   is the link to where I bought mine. I got the HD model with the larger motor. Good luck.....
  11.  Frank Morgan 1st, Nathan Stone 2nd.( of course he was killed in a street fight,( Autumn Of The Gun )
  12.    I'll say you're right.
  13. According to an article in the paper, they did look at Lebanon, Clarksville & I think, Memphis, before deciding on Ala.
  14. Keep DST. Quit the changing twice a yr. We have two time zones in TN now and several bordering states that are Eastern. Haven't had a problem dealing with it. Add an hour to whatever the watch says & go. JMHO
  15.  Bring it on. Just that much closer to football season!
  16. When you have camera guys & a script, it ain't real.
  17. I did go, very crowded as you said & cramped. Walked thru it twice, bought a burger & coke, headed back up I40 E. Standard fare for Goodmans shows.
  18.  Well, I didn't go, drove by there around 11;30am, had quite a crowd. Never had much luck at auctions. People go nuts. Always afraid I'd scratch my head at the wrong time & buy somehting.
  19.    LOL, girl, you've got too much free time on your hands.
  20.  Glad I no longer have in-laws.
  21.    He'll likely die of old age before he'd see a needle in this state. Gotta love the old days....horse, sturdy limb, rope, justice served!
  22.  Going against my better judgement, I may try to make this one. Haven't done anything totally stupid  yet this week, and I'm running out of time. This should fill in the gap. LOL
  23.  Update:...Son-in-law has been arrested in connection with the bombing. Richard Parker. Lived in the house  behind the Setzers. Investigation is ongoing.  Parker is in jail under 1 million $  bond.
  24.  One of the multitude of reasons I don't do Facebook.
