I heard this morning that Tiger McKee has passed away.He was the owner of Shootrite Academy in Alabama. He had stopped teaching and was doing custom conversions on S&W revolvers. He was only 63 or 64.

When I was younger I looked forward to a Road Warrior/Mad Max kind of world.Today I realize I will only last until my Celebrex runs out unless I die sooner. -
That pretty much how I make cornbread, minus the salt and baking powder. My mother taught me,her grandmother taught her and her husband my great grandfather taught her because she couldn’t cook when he married her.Long story short, our family recipes are my great grandfather’s

Like others there are some I regret selling buy most I have sold were because I wanted to try them and didn’t like it or I got it for a great price and knew I could flip it for a profit.I did a major sell off between 2008/2010 for financial reasons.

Honestly the best security for a gun in a vehicle is common sense.Don’t have any stickers, decals or anything else on your vehicle that would indicate there is a gun inside. This includes the Gadsden “don’t tread on me” vanity license plate.Last but not least, lock your doors.

In a recent YouTube video by Bill Wilson and Ken Hackathorn the subject of grip pressure came up.Hackathorn said you want the heels of your hand to feel like they are crushing a nut between them and less tension in the palms, fingers.

Lone Star Law is great. It’s a reality game warden show in Texas. The production company has other shows set in the North East and a new one in Louisiana too but the Texas show is the best one.Benny Richards, one of the wardens has written 2 books with a 3rd coming out soon.

I feel more of a difference when I shoot or carry a gun with a different size grip rather than an action type. I have carried and done a lot of practice with a Glock 43x and a 48 over the last 3 years, conversely I have also shot a few of my 1911s as well for fun.The other day I picked up my Glock 34 to familiarize myself with it because I want to shoot IDPA with it some this year.It felt like I was gripping a 2x4.It took several minutes to get used to the grip and mag release.

Most places in my area do the 4473 on a computer.I can’t remember the last time I filled one out on paper.

Sweet!. I’ve owned at least a dozen Spydercos over the years and have been impressed with the quality. They have been part of my EDC since the 2010s but I do find the idea of an automatic Spyderco redundant.I noticed they did include the hole but much smaller like the ones on their fixed blades.

I wear a cheap Timex Ironman at work. I have a couple nice Casios,a Bulova Marine Master and a Swiss Army watch but I never wear them.
