They have updated it again, as of 12-3-2011, now I'm on there. I thought they were not going to be able to add any after march 2011.

No laws were passed that would prevent them from doing what they are. In fact legally they could still publish your address, they have just chosen not to after several complaints.

Only the CA has ever been mentioned as access point.

As I understand it, they actually have to pay the state periodically for the database access, so they've made rather a minor crusade of it.

Does anyone know what happened to the % wildcard search capability? Seems to have been disabled. I have tried it several different times and in different ways on the form but no luck. Anyone?

No. No political reasoning, no gun accessory company affiliation behind my desire to search the database, just personal. I finally figured it out. Thanks for all the help.
