yes this video is safe for work.

Sorry to burst your bubble, they are Tubifex worms as seen here:

. They are usually found in or around polluted streams or ponds in colonies. Here, in the sewer, they take this form of a clump because they are growing on top of one another since there is no dirt or sediment that they can survive in. Notice how they both "pulse" as one group when touched or disturbed in both videos. Bryozoologists are still trying to figure out how they got into the sewer though.

you seem more knowledgable than me on this thing but it dont look like no tubie flex to me when comparing both video's.

What I've read point to it being a Bryozoan. YMMV

Oh, no! don't poke it! I did that once to a trash bag floating in a river, and it was a body. A very old body. :)
