Sig Sauer MPX-C sexiness

I don't see Sig releasing this to the market in its current form.  There's no way the ATF is going to bless that as kosher.  That's not a muzzle break - that's a monocore baffle stack for a suppressor.

What's that old saying?  "If it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck?"

Parts are parts.  Welded or not, you or I would be prosecuted for illegal manufacture if we were to hang one of these off the end of an AR.  There's no way the ATF is going to let them go on this.  It makes it too easy for someone to slip a piece of 1.25" ID tube on the end of it.

That said, I like it.  I might even be willing to part with the tax on two stamps to get a SBR'd one.

What if Sig has already got approval from the ATF? I saw another video from Eric (Iraqveteran888) were the Sig rep says that the suppressor is the part that screws on. And that is what you have to get the tax stamp on.

Am i the only one who sees this as a high quality, readily available, modified MP5 clone?

Yeah, probably.
Completely different action, AR based ergos, etc.

9mm, closed bolt...really, the only commonality that I'm seeing. Edited by TN-popo
