Sorry, forgot to take a pic further back showing the full case.  They had pretty much everything but 22.

And yes, 100rd packs of 40 for $25!!   These prices are almost pre-madness.

Hehehe... yea.  I make a loop of 3 WalMart stores 2-3 times a week.  They all are pretty bare about half the time but when they get shipments, they are now pretty big shipments with lots of good stuff stacked deep.  Of course, it still sells out quickly but whereas I used to only score 2-5 boxes of ammo a week, I'm now hitting the 3 box limit at multiple stores, a few times a week.

It's getting better.  I'm nervous about these three stores jacking up their prices like the Murfreesboro stores.  Maybe I shouldn't share my honey holes, but I'm not the selfish type.  :-)

It's getting better at our local store, but nothing like that.  I haven't seen any 9 or 22 at our Wal-Mart since the madness started.  But I do see some 40 and 45 once in a while.  Two months ago I was out of town in Georgia visiting relatives and stopped by one of their Wal-Marts for something.  While there I wandered over to Sporting Goods "just in case" and found 6 boxes of 22Mag on the shelf.  First I've seen in months.  So I bought 3 boxes and walked out of the store grinning like a kid at Christmas.

So, a year ago 50 rounds of Federal 40 was $16. Today, 100 rds for $25. That's $12.50/50. Me likey. I make it myself and I got some anyway!

Those were 100 round federal boxes? I've never seen 100 round federal boxes.

If you check the website that allows you to check on WalMart ammo, the Antioch store has had ammo practically all along, every day.  I couldn't figure out how they do it.  Their pricing on the Fed 9mm is $3/box cheaper than it goes for at my local WM.  I thought all WM pricing was the same.

This is the one that caught my eye.  A new Walmart location recently opened in Sweetwater, TN.  I was in there last Sunday and they had a couple of the 100 round value packs of Remington UMC .380 ammo but the price was just over forty bucks (IIRC, it was $42.xx.)  A dollar or two difference between Walmart locations is understandable, I guess, due to possible differences in overhead in different areas or whatever.  A difference of more than $10 for identical 100 round boxes of .380 ammo between two Walmart locations in the same state, though, I find to be quite excessive.

Funny that during the last shortage, .380 was the most difficult to find but it seems to have only completely 'disappeared' from shelves for a few weeks this time.  I built a little onhand supply after the last nonsense (because my P3AT was my most carried gun back then and so I practiced with it a lot, meaning I had to run around to try and find ammo last time.)  I also don't shoot as much .380 as I used to (a S&W 642 is now my most carried gun - although the P3AT still gets carried a little.)

Not owning a 40, I thought that $25.xx sounded pretty high for ammo - then I looked closer at the picture (second pic down in the OP) and realized that they were 100 round boxes.  I don't pay that much attention to .40 ammo but I'm not sure that I have ever seen 100 round Federal boxes in 9mm or .380.

Yeah, I found the same 100 packs of .380 UMC at Hermitage WM at $39. Guess I need to shop Antioch. Still think we need to give a few more months before we see a new normal. I'm now shooting more 9mm than .22 ... its cheaper!

Remington 380 cal  32.00 bucks a box. Sticker shock.......... :squint: :puke: :puke: :puke: I bought Fiocchi FMJ two years ago for 17.00 a box and got 1000 rounds

Notice that is the 100 round packs, not a 50 round box.  That would be $16 per 50 rounds.

Yeah I've seen the 50 found boxes of the federal fmj 180 grain .40 but never 100 round

Something tells me this store has failed to raise their prices like the rest. I've been to 4-5 different stores from Florida to TN and the Federal 9mm is now $14.97. Not $11.97.

I've passed at this price several times. I can stomach $11.97.

Oh, and I went to 2 different stores in Knoxville today. The only center fire rounds I saw was a lone box of .44mag at Walker Springs.

I've yet to understand why some of the stores are getting such small and infrequent shipments while others have full shelves.

I stopped at our local Wal-Mart last night.  Surprisingly they had the best stock of ammo I've seen since December.  They had a few boxes of most items, but still no 22LR.  They had 6 boxes of the Federal 9 for $14.97 per 50, and a few boxes of Federal 22 mag for over $ 18 each!  The clerk was in the floor with the pricing label gun.  She said all of the prices were going up!
