TGO Godfather! It's here!

That's a beautiful knife. Definitely a collector and not a carry knife.

I agree with you on that. I really had to talk with myself on this one. I could almost rationalize the first, and the little Knoxville spree that netted a couple of OTFs even seemed reasonable.

But since I'm not a highly placed Mafioso who needs a beautiful knife as this...I really had to get down and dirty with myself over buying it.

This one gets flicked and fired a few times and then straight to the Sackems Silicone Roll! LOL

Gotta handle it first to see if it is practicable for EDC.  How it handles for my everyday tasks and all.  Done broke the tip of my Kershaw Speedsafe.  That's what I get for trying to pry up a superglued nickel.  I am not done with that nickel just yet.

I am hopeful for a Monday delivery here.

I broke my 20 year old Gerber LST in a body shop because of some wiseass painter gluing a Kennedy half on the floor where I delivered on day.

I don't know which was worse...the laughing, breaking my knife, or being shown to be a stupid and greedy guy.

I know one of my co-workers glued this thing down several years ago.  I really thought it would pop off.  Luckily it just busted the very tip of the knife, it still is my EDC and I abuse it daily at work.  Cellophane shipping tape and corrugated cardboard are merciless on a blade.

I am gonna go after the nickel with a screwdriver and a hammer.

I am a believer that tools are made to use. It's like scratching your Snap-on ratchet, putting a ding in your 60K pickup. Granted, I won't try to pry a nickel up with this but I will use it and if the time ever comes, use it for what it's designed for.

The LG has been fantastic and I've had to sharpen it twice already.

Looking forward to the mailman!

I've been carrying it today and it is fantastic. Lightweight for being such a large knife. I tend to carry on my left side (I'm right handed) and would prefer the clip to be on the other side but then that would cover the logo. Makes it kinda awkward to pull it out and then turn it around to get to the button. If you carry it on the right side and are right handed it should be fine. It would be pretty cool to have some extra panels to change the look and protect the TGO panels.

Ok, The Godfather is in the house!!

I must say that pics do not do it justice. It is a hell of an impressive knife!

That visually stunning look is just too much for words.
