Sitting in Minor Med...anyone dealing with the crud?

Recommended Posts

Man this is kicking my tail. First 2 days had choking sensation, didn't realize it was congestion until the third day it traveled in my upper chest. Now 3 days later, feels like a snow plow ran down my throat and then a salt truck immediately there after. Chills all day yesterday. Thankful no nausea. I hope everyone else dealing with this had a speedy recovery. I've got a switch kick in the taint to the person who got me infected. Edited by Slappy

Yep.  Exact same symptoms.  My voice sounds like I've been eating gravel.  The way I feel right now, I have serious doubts that I will go to work tomorrow.  Can't get warm no matter how many blankets I pile on.

Man, I am truly sorry to hear that. I was diagnosed with bronchitis and low fever among other things. Got antibiotics and some kicktail cough medicine. It's ok to put salt around the rim of my cough medicine bottle right?

Same here. Was sick all last week. Congestion, chills caughing, aching all over. Struggled through work looking forward to the weekend to get better. Now I feel worse than ever. Don't think I will go to work tomorrow.

The two things that helped me the most were:
1- Nyquil with decongestant the one they keep behind the pharmacy counter
2- strong hot spiced tea with a qood shot of whiskey in it before bed .
My voice is still gravelly but finally starting to feel better

Going on 3 weeks now of sounding like Sam Elliott.
It feels like he'll, but I'm pretty sure the wife keeps sneezing on me on purpose.

I don't even LIKE Dodges.

But seriously, yeah. Tight chest, raw throat, breathing like I just smoked a deck of Camels. It stopped being fun around day 1

I'm slow this morning...I had to think about that for a moment. lol

It should be "I don't even LIKE Rams" though. Just to be correct.

You'll feel better soon. My wife and I swapped it back and forth for about 5-6 weeks. But it does get better.
